Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (3000, 9, 2015/07/07) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
The car that was advertised was a Nissan Altima for $not a and I knew exactly what I came to the dealership for and brought the copy of the vehicle I wantedMy sales guy *** took the printout of the Altima took me to walk around the lot to locate the car and we found the Altima in the service area being service and it was not available for me to test drive at the time I was there so we wrote up the contract anyway for the for $15,and then the next day *** called me and said that I would need to put the car in my daughter name in order to get a better deal and interest rate so the following day I brought my daughter and the old contract for them to discard and they wrote up a new contract and it was to be the same as prior but I was not in the room when my daughter was signing the contract which was to be identical to the one I had signed so I never bother to take a look at the contract until I received the registration on Saturday to make sure that I was charged the correct amount and that's when I notice that the cost of the car didnt matched the 1st contract otherwise I would have never contacted the dealership after all this timeI also would have never purchased a used altima for $when I can buy it new for $When I walked in I told *** my budget was $and he told me I was getting a great deal for under $on the altimaWhen I called *** on Saturday and reminded him that I was the customer that brought in the printout of the car I wanted her remembered who I was and said he didn't know that I wasn't given the Internet rate and would find out what happenThe only reason *** was my sales guy was he handled all of the Internet dealsAs I shared with *** yesterday the fair market value on Kelley Blue Book for a dealership on a used Altima is between $15k and $18k but reads $16,is fair purchase why would I pay $especially when KBB says if I purshase a brand new it would range $20k-$23k and fair purchase price is $21,Adrian and *** know that I know longer have the printout (as that was the 1st thing they asked me yesterday) so therefore they can say that the price was never $we never spoke of $that rate was never discussed with me and as I mentioned earlier the 1st contract they wrote up that I signed for the altima was $NOT $and the new contract was to be the sameAgain Mountainview needs to honor what was discussed and what was written up in the 1st contract and they need to refund me or the bank the difference of what was agreed uponI truly expect *** & Adrian to own up and do the right thing and make this right as Adrian told me that he was into this used car for $and I truly do not believe him as that would of meant that he paid way of the KBB price for the car and I'm sure he is not in business to lose money as this car is not worth what he is stating he paidI willing to negotiate a part of what I feel they should return but I'm not in the business to overpay for a car and lose money

In response
to the Revdex.com complaint #***, I have reviewed Mrs*** compliant in regards to the vehicle they
purchasedThe Carfax report showed no accidents on the vehicle at the time of
purchase and I ran a new Carfax and it still shows “no
accident” The dealership
uses Carfax to
provide to our customers a report that will show if a vehicle has been in an
accident, they are well known reputable company. I do advise the customers to have a 3rd
party examine the vehicle, however, I did not say it was Mrs*** fault if
they did not have the inspection done.
We did not misrepresent the vehicle, we ran a report prior to sale of
the vehicle by a reputable company.
I suggested
to Mrs*** to bring the vehicle in, however, she refused. *** *** General Manager

I am rejecting this response because:
How can a Chevy Deanship tell me to take it for a second option? Who would be better to verify a Chevy than Chevy deanship ? That response is ridiculousPlus I brought my truck in service a week after having it because my dash was shiftedThey just brushed me off and replace the radio without an explanationThey knew all along that my truck was in accident and completely committed fraudI have already contacted a lawyer about this matter and they are taking my case with no hesitation

Per the Service Manager we are issuing the customer a check for $

CUSTOMER CAME IN FOR AN OIL CHANGE ON 7/CUSTOMER CALLED A COUPLE DAYS LATER STATED SHE HAD A CHIP IN THE PAINT I ASKED HER TO COME DOWN AND LET ME INSPECT ITSHE CAME DOWN, WHEN I INSPECTED THE HOOD IT WAS ON THE RIGHT CENTER OF THE HOOD AND THAT IT WAS NOT RELATED TO ANYTHING FROM THE SHOP
SHE STATED IT WAS FROM OUR OVER HEAD AIR HOSES, I SHOWED THE CUSTOMER THAT IT WAS A CHIPPED THAT WAS GOING TOWARDS THE REAR AND IT WAS POSSIBLY A ROCK OR SOMETHING THAT I WOULD TOUCH IT UP, NOT PAINT IT AS A COURTESYSHE SAID OK WHEN SHE CAME IN I WAS SICK AND THE TOUCH UP WAS DONE I DID NOT INSPECT ITTHE CUSTOMERS BOYFRIEND CAME DOWN CREATING A SCENE I SIMPLY TOLD HIM I AGREED THAT THE TOUCH UP LOOKED BAD AND THAT IF I HAD BEEN HERE THAT I WOULD HAVE AUTHORIZED TO PAINT IT DUE TO THE FACT IT LOOKED WORSETHE CUSTOMER DID RETURN AND WE PAINTED THE HOOD AT NO CHARGE AS A COURTESY

I have reached out to the customer and gave him $worth of store credit for future services or any parts or accessories that he would like to purchase in the future
Thank you

I appologize that you feel like you were misled. Vehicle does have a description of what it is equipped with "MSRP". That details all of the options and transmission that the car comes with.

Yes but the Vehicle doesn't have a the info to compare to other Vehicles. That is the job of the salesman who is trusted by the consumer to be "helped " and informed before making a decision... and "MSRP" stands for The manufacturer's suggested retail price (MSRP), list price or recommended retail price (RRP) of a product is the price at which the manufacturer recommends that the retailer sell the product. witch has nothing to do with your employees ability to not lie to make money.

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.

So I get my car appraised (that I just got in march of this year) how come it's only worth "$6,250 - $7,500" but this RIP OFF of a company charged me $13,863 initially with my trade in it went down to $10,863. I'm paying $3,363 - $4,613 extra why???? Definitely learned my lesson.
