I understand your concern and will do my best do explain how our Academy worksA side note before I get started: we operate the same as many other Accredited Home School Academies and we are in our 10th year serving homeschoolersHow the Traditional curriculum works: (1) Student enrolls (2) If student does not have high school transcripts, student will need diagnostic testing (3) We send testing to student (4) Parent or Guardian administers testing (5) Test are sent back to us and they are graded (5) We then place student according to the testing and guidance of the Parent or Guardian (6) We then send curriculum to student (7) Parent or Guardian then becomes teacher and assumes responsibility of training the student with our help/curriculum (8) After student completes each unit, they will take a testThis test is then sent back to us along with the grades so that we can keep track of progress and GPA Our Online curriculum is all done online and grading is mostly automaticIn this particular case, the student was not advanced to the next grade levelWe are currently waiting on grades from the parent We did order and send the next set of books for the next year so the student could get started on their work This does not mean the student has passed that grade levelThe parent told me that they are sending the grades and would like to get started in the meantimeI will send all grades and records when I receive them from the parentThank you for your consideration of this matter Please contact us if you have any concerns or questions and I will be happy to assist.Respectfully,MVCHS
