Good Morning, Thank you for the opportunity to respond to this customer's concernAfter reviewing this file we have determined that no refund is due the customer as Mee's and [redacted] delivered the shipment on August 18th, which was inside the signed contract delivery window Mr [redacted] changed his original move plan which was to go directly from Roseville to Austin, TxHe needed storage for the month of July which added to his costMr [redacted] also added $deductible valuation to his move which increased the cost of his move All of these charges were agreed to by Mr [redacted] by several signatures on different formsI will be happy to provide the signed copies of the order for service, bill of lading, credit card authorization form, and emails from Mr [redacted] to the Revdex.com for their independent reviewPlease also keep in mind Mr [redacted] has months to file a claim with [redacted] for move damage Allied customer care can be reached directly at *- [redacted] As of September 15th, no completed claim form has been received by Allied from Mr [redacted] For the reasons stated above Mee's Moving will not be issueing any refund to Mr [redacted] Thank you so much for your time and understanding - [redacted] with Mee's Moving & Storage

move started. We do not issue refunds over claims however, I urge the customer to start a claim with *** in our office. Good Afternoon, We value our relationship with the Revdex.com and our A+ rating we maintain. In respects to this move the customer was billed based on the exact work Mee Moving performed. I have attached the bill of lading which was signed at the beginning
and the end of move by *** ***. I also have signed credit card receipts that can be provided. To date the customer has not filed a claim with our company. We will be happy to provide a claim form which can be filled out for any damage that occurred during the move. Unfortunately, Mrshas decided to pursue a chargeback with her credit card and we need to wait and see what is decided in that respect in order to pursue a solution with respect to this complaint. I am rejecting this response because: [redacted] is not telling the truth.  His representative [redacted] was aware that we were going to take 3 weeks to drive from Roseville CA to Austin TX and he offered us "30 days free storage". We never agreed to "0" Deductible since we were covered by our Homeowners Policy and couldn't afford the "0 deductible.  The reason [redacted] has several documents with my signature agreeing to his terms is because he threatened if I didn't sign those documents and agree to the extra $2500 in charges "[redacted] will cancel my move and they don't know when they will get our furniture, etc. to us  I believe that statement meets the standard for "extortion". Mee's Moving lied and failed to keep their agreement to deliver my items at the agreed upon time frame. Then Mee's Moving threatened me and extorted $2500 from me.

I am rejecting this response because: Mr [redacted] continues to misrepresent the truth!  The only reason I signed the papers for $12k and the insurance for "0" deductible was to protect my items under the threat from Mr [redacted] that he would cancel my move and we would not know when we would get our items...AND YES THAT IS EXTORTION !!!

As per your letter of 12-02-15 regarding [redacted] comment that is their “sincere entent to come to an amicable solution to this complaint and be happy to talk with Mrs. [redacted] or her represtative directly” I would like to make the following comments.1.      Mees did not complete or sufficiently provide the service as promised.2.      I did sign the lading and credit card charge at the new house bat was not aware of the uncompleted move credit I returned to the old house.3.      08-16-15 I phoned Mee’s and left a message regarding problems and on 08-17-15 spoke with [redacted] and he said he would work on it and take care of the problem.4.      08-18-15 called [redacted] left a message to call NO RESPONSE.5.      08-20-15 called [redacted] at [redacted] and he said he would call tomorrow noon. NO RESPONSE.6.      08-24-15 at 9:30 am. Called [redacted] and he advised me he would call back by4:00 that afternoon. NO CALL.7.      08-26-15 my son called [redacted] and was advised they would refund $150.00. My son said that wouldn’t fly. (That wouldn’t ever cover the expenses I had on 08-16-15 to have someone with a package to move items left behind, the frozen food I lost due to the advise of one of the packers and/or the broken glass door to my hatch. He told my son that they did two walk thrus. This is a lie, they did not do any.As you can see Mee’s and [redacted] have not put a good faith effort to resolve this situation. I believe that thought as my husband & me are in our late 80’s that they could us and we would get tired and fade away. My husband passed away 10-11-15 but I have no intention of going away. If they wanted to settle this matter they could have called me. They have my number. Thank you would your attention and I really appreciate your help.Sincerely[redacted]
