***.Mendco Construction has received your complaint and our response is as followed:Job Scope: *** *** signed with Mendco on 05/14/for roof and siding repairsTheroof was completed in September of The customer fought with insurance company on theamount of siding that would be replaced and work began again in and repairs completed06/14/2012.Our phone records show *** *** had left a message with our answering service asrecently as 07/3/05:PM which is alter our of?ce hoursUpon our of?cemanagers arrival the following day ***'s message was returned at 12:PM and a messagehad been left to please call the office to discuss her concerns.On July Mendco received a letter from the Revdex.com that a complaint has been ?led inregards to warranty issuesOur office manager again called and left a message to discuss thewarranty with ***No return call has been made to our office as of date.Please note upon final completion of the job on 06/14/there was a final balance owed toMendco Construction Coin the amount of $3,As of today's date 07/16/thatbalance has not been paidA notice of intent to file a mechanic's lien was mailed to thecustomer on 08/15/due to the unpaid balanceInvoices and intent to file a lien had goneignored by *** ***.Mendco Construction Cois not required to honor a warranty on material or workmanship if thecustomer neglects to pay their balance in its entiretyOn June 27, there was a complaintfrom *** *** to Mendco in regards to a leaking roof and a letter had been provided toher at that time also explaining the balance owed on the account would have to be paid beforeany action would be taken.Should the balance have been paid upon completion of the job the customer's warranty wouldhave gone into effect for (one) yearThe warranty for this customer would have expiredp.206/5/and would not have been applied to the most recent complaint on 07/13/2015.Mendco Construction will always offer to look at damages despite a warranty provided aprevious customer's balance is paid. Mendco Construction has provided copies to the Revdex.com of the customer survey filled out byDonna ***, the letter issued to the customer in regards to her complaint on 06/27/2013, acopy of the intent to file a lien, as well as the work completion form signed and dated06/14/2012.
