I am writing in response to your letter dated January 11, regarding the complaint of *** *** *** (above referenced file number)By way of background, Mountain West Research Center of Survey Sampling International, LLC (“SSI”) is a market research and political opinion polling
organization, and we engage respondents via online channels and telephone. We sell no products or services to consumers on our own behalf or on behalf of any third party, and we do not engage in telemarketing or telesales within the State of Oregon. We are also not subject to the do not call requirements of the federal Telephone Consumer Protection Act We have checked our records, and we made five recent attempted calls to the *** household for a survey project during the period of December 12, through December 16, We do take our commitments to the market research industry seriously, and that includes respect for our respondents. Accordingly, we have voluntarily added *** *** telephone number to our internal do not call list. I trust this resolves this matterSincerely, *** *** Contracts Manager
