Greetings, Since we have resolved the complaint amicably, what does my response have to entail? Thank you, [redacted] Mountain Works LLC [redacted]

Complaint: [redacted] Dear [redacted] met us to discuss the work which is pending and agreed on the attached punch list In the latter part of December and first half of January he completed some items on that list, but since then there has been no progress We have added a couple of missing items to the punchlist:1) an electrical inspection was completed but it has not been registered with the townhall;2) window screens need to be provided for the new windows which he installed We would like [redacted] to finish the work on the punch list by the end of February so that the final inspection of the work under his responsibility can be carried out by Townhall If he accomplishes that and provides a lien waiver for all contractors and sub-contractors, then we will consider our complaint with the Revdex.com satisfactorily resolvedSincerely, [redacted] ***

Review: On May 19, 2013, we signed a contract with [redacted], owner of Mountain Works LLC (the GC) to do renovation work for $106,919.91 to be completed on August 31, 2013, later extended to October 2013. The GC and owner [redacted], took out the building permit and started demolition work in June. 2013. We paid the installments on time, but the GC did not deliver by the agreed date. On site work stopped around December 2013 and the GC stopped answering our emails and phone calls. In January 2014, the GC showed up to ask for more money in order to continue the work. We presented him the accounts, showing that we had paid more than what he had delivered. He agreed and sent people to do some more work but that stopped again, leaving us with incomplete and defective work inside as well as outside the house. In particular, siding and gutters need to be installed for the north and south side of the house to prevent water from flooding the basement and to insulate the house against the cold winter snowstorms. After repeated calls and emails, the GC met us on October 29, 2014 and we drew up a punch list. This gave us hope that we could have a sealed house before the winter snowstorms but up till today, December 5th, he has done nothing in spite of the fact that he is more than one year late in completing the work. We have tried to resolve the problem in good faith with the GC, but it is clear to us now that the GC has abandoned his responsibilities. Therefore, we seek your help to get the GC to honor his commitment under the contract and complete the work once and for all before Christmas. Thank youDesired Settlement: We want the GC to finish the work on the punch list before Christmas 2014.
