My names is [redacted] and I am the sales manager for Mountaineer Automotive, the [redacted] On the date I received this email we revisited the concern at hand and scheduled an appointment withThe customer to come in and have his vehicle buffed completelyWhen the customer showed for theAppointment, he was given a vehicle to drive while our detail department reconditioned the truck.Once the customer returned to receive his truck, he was satisfied with the paint but was concernedAbout the windshield, We stated to the customer that the truck would not have passed inspectionIf the windshield had been in the condition it was in when it went through our shopAfter this wasAddressed the customer left our dealership and we haven’t heard of any other concerns with theWindshield.Regard, [redacted] ***

On August 1, Ms [redacted] came to our dealership endeavoring to purchase a pre-owned vehicleAfter a demonstration drive and credit check, Ms [redacted] chose to purchase a Jeep CompassPrior to the completion of final financing paperwork, Ms [redacted] was informed that the Jeep had been in an accident that was reported to AutocheckMs [redacted] received a copy of the Autocheck and signed one that our dealership has on fileShe proceeded with the purchaseDue to federal privacy laws, we are unable to discuss Ms***'s creditworthinessOur dealership has endeavored to help Ms [redacted] to no avail, due to many varying factorsWe feel that with full disclosure prior to the purchase, our dealership has done nothing wrongMountaineer Automotive requests that you, the Revdex.com, dismiss and close this inquiry

Since my last email Mountaineer Automotive has called and set up a appointment to have a new windshield put in my truckI am very happy with this, it is all I was trying to have resolved.

This vehicle is unsafe. Yes I signed a paper but the salesperson withheld vital information and was misleading. The auto trader report given to me. Y the salesperson is different and missing pages. The company was supposedly trying to help me but all of their "deals" subsequently fell through. At the least the company should replace this vehicle with one comparable.

In regards to [redacted]s concern. He has an aftermarket extended warranty ([redacted]). Their process is to get the vehicle tore down to the point of failure and at that point they will send an inspector in to determine coverage. We diagnosed and contacted [redacted] extended warranty and was advised...

to remove the engine and tear down to the point of failure, after the inspector was called and came in to determine the cause of failure, at that time [redacted]quested further tear down of the engine, which delayed the repair process, [redacted] authorized the replacement of the crankshaft and heads. At that time we advised [redacted] of the approval in which he requested a complete engine assembly which was approx. $1000 more than [redacted] approved. We then called [redacted] extended warranty at which time the approved a complete engine assembly. We assume no liability in the extended repair process due to following the process [redacted] extended warranty requested. Sincerely [redacted] Service Manager, Mountaineer Automotive
