Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: The letter Mountain Plumbing wrote is ridicules and absolutely no true The time I called 9a.m, the office clerk told me their job already line up for next weeks I have concerned if they come to assess the job, they may still not able to do the job I also like to get a second opinion and quote from different plumbers too I called different plumbers that day One was mountain plumbingThey scheduled 5pm to 7pm The other one schedule 3p.mMountain plumbing came not too long after I may the calls and went out for errands After I came back, the second plumber came and gave us opinions and quote for the job I was expected mountain plumbing would return late evening that day again since they schedule 5pmafter But they did not show up again or gave us a call to make arrangement for the next day plumbing diagnose We have no choice to do comparison but accepted the one came to assess our job Yes, Mountain Plumbing explained to me that because their schedule full that day and they had to come in evening hours so we have to pay them overtime for their arrival Regretfully, Mountain Plumbing did not keep the promise to come in the evening to check on our jobNeither would they call to inform us they changed arrival time I do not believe they entitle to charge those overtime working hours while they did not keep the promise to come in the evening I had not received any call from their office clerk before or after their plumber suddenly dropped in 10am If they did, I would gladly listen to their proposal and costs to do the job This outdoor plumbing fix involved thousand dollars with big equipment and coordination with electrician and Sewer Company It is unlikely that any homeowner would not care to get the second opinion and costs to fix outdoor excavating job Mountain plumber absolutely liar that we did not appreciate they would reschedule another appointment I believe Mountain plumbing are bluffing to us that they have GPS tracking record; they excused they showed up to our place 4:pmThey must have neclients’ call and come to this area? Or they simply make up a phony record to conceal their unorganized business activities We had several people lived in the house No one hear any door bell rang! How they claim they stayed our place rang the door bell for minutes? If mountain plumbers would not admit their sloppy job unorganized business conducts and refunds us moneyI am sorry I would have to make public complaint to introduce their business default manners Sincerely, [redacted] ***
The customer's complaint on this matter would be resolved by him choosing to have us complete the work we proposed to him on our plumbing visit on 2/9/During that visit, our plumber assessed the existing shut off valve to Mr [redacted] 's toilet (see picture attached), and proposed a work scope to replace it and a portion of the existing piping connecting to this emergency shut off valve It is significant to note that, during that visit, the only thing our plumber did was turn that existing valve into the 'on' position We executed no work in the home because the customer decided to not have us complete that specific work scope proposed The existing valve is made of plastic and is of a type that is known for problematic operation and is generally encouraged to be replaced The existing water piping that runs to this valve is cpvc plastic, which is notorious for becoming brittle as it ages and is very sensitive to manipulation It is for this reason that our plumber did not want to attempt to simply change out that valve on the existing pipe connection and recommended opening the wall to replace a portion of the piping supporting this valve as well Following our visit, and Mr [redacted] 's decision to pay us only the dispatch fee, he called our office to discuss the situation and we informed him that we would gladly return to do the work, and that he simply had to consent to our proposal in order for that to happen In consideration of the fact that Mr [redacted] has not paid us for any work, and that we have not, as of yet, performed any work, we believe that this complaint has no grounds
The initial visit to the customer's house was to address a Navian tankless water heater that was leaking internally Upon the initial visit on 12/19, it was discovered that the customer had taken apart multiple connections inside the unit, all of which are factory set hose connections The customer had also removed a factory installed plug at the bottom of the internal buffer tank, and a plug at the bottom of the recirc pump When the customers tried to put all of these parts back together again, they couldn't get it together without it leaking Our plumber was very clear with the customers that we can not be responsible for any warranty work on that unit going forward because once factory seals are taken apart, all warranty opportunities from the factory are voided There are many components used to manufacture tankless water heaters that are not 'regular plumbing stock items' these parts are assembled in factories and are not intended to be taken apart once put into the units While our plumber was able to set some of the fittings and connections to stop leaking while we were there, the original factory connections had been compromised and we would never be under warranty once something like that has happened with factory connections It is true that the customer called in and I was unable to take their call It was on my calendar to call them back later that morning after I had completed some pre-scheduled meetings The customer called in a second time and was very curt with our office manager when she told him our stance and offered to give a referral to another plumbing company who might be able to service him She told me that he was not happy about the situation and hung up on her
