Movable Storage Company

We were moving and needed someplace to store items until our closing. We had used this company in the past and thought it would be a good solution again. I should have known there was an issue when the phone number listed on the website had a number for a former employee. He was kind enough to give me the correct number. The email was also not working. They brought the pod out and we filled it with an understanding that they would come out on the day before our closing (the date I gave him) to move the pod to our new house. I decided to call to confirm the week of the scheduled pick up to confirm he was coming. I had lost the note I had written his number down on (my fault) so I had to try to reach the previous employee again. I called the former employee multiple times, with no success. After several days of trying, I finally reached him and got the correct phone number. When I called, I was informed that the voicemail was full, so I could not leave a message. At this point, I was getting very frustrated. I called over and over and texted the number. No response. Finally he answered the phone. By this time it was the day before closing and our moving date. I asked when he was picking up the pod and he stated that he was in Chicago and would not be able to pick it up until Sunday. I told him that it had to be moved that the new owners were taking possession. He became very defensive and upset and told me that I had given him the wrong date and that he was going to pick it up the following week. I got upset and told him that was absolutely not acceptable and he hung up on me. I sent him a text message, letting him know how unprofessional he was and that I was going to stop payment on my credit card and have the pod emptied and I would move everything myself. I also told him that he needed to pick it up that following Sunday. He replied with "Perfect".
I received a call that Sunday night from the new owners stating that it was not picked up. I texted him and told him that they wanted it gone and that they were going to get rid of it if it wasn't picked up. He informed me that that was "Perfect" again becasue I was under contract for the pod. He has been completely unprofessional and rude. He was not any cheaper than any of the real providers of this service, but the location was close to our home, so I thought it would at least be convenient. I would definitely recommend staying far away from this business.
