Movati Athletic does not provide Renewal Notices to its customers - which it is required to do under the Consumer Protection Act, and is part of its contract with members
The day before my year term ended, I emailed the manager and said that I did not wish to renew my membership as I had moved out WestShe said I had to come into the club to do that (which is NOT stipulated anywhere in the contract), I then told her it was impossible and phoned the front desk who said they would put it on my file that I did not wish to renewI thought that was the end of itLast week, as I looked over my bank statements I realized they had still been charging me $biweekly

*** joined Movati because *** I clearly mentioned that I am not getting in to any contract and she told me not worry I am not signing any contract with MovatiI only switched my gym because I was told that I can use the pool with my kids and also I can use the baby sitter program but when I want to use the pool they said kids are not allowed in pool and also I have make separate membership payments for my kids membershipAnd also when got the kids membership they said I can use kids membership flexibly but when I came with my kid to put her in the day care facilities they told me to make an appointment or call them everyday before coming to clubThey never mentioned that when I was getting the membership for my kidBecause of all this I stop going to club but I was still paying for the membership even though I wasn't using their serviceThey are keep sen
