My girlfriend and I were making an in-city move in [redacted]. I priced many movers and took into consideration Revdex.com certification. Upon these factors I chose Move-it-4-less. The leader, [redacted], responds promptly. Clarity of what is included in a price quote can be somewhat hazy. The team arrived early, and they were cordial, nice guys. Their appearance is not exactly reassuring from a professional standpoint, but, really, how important should a uniform be? The move went very quickly. I have only 2 complaints: 1. The price I paid was significantly higher than the quote (about 40% higher) and 2. Most of the furniture that was moved, of which there were only about 10 [redacted]-type pieces, had small cracks and dents and fractures upon their being unpacked in the new apartment. The damage isn't so overt where one would walk into the apartment and go 'holy cow, those things were destroyed', but they were enough to attract attention and, couple with the higher price paid, made me regret choosing a less well-known, potentially less professional operation.
Ultimately, they were all good guys, but if I had to do it over again, I'd commit to the slightly higher price from the beginning for a little more professional operation and peace of mind.
Thank you.
