contacted us to help move her mother from ***, Pato ***, Paon Friday 5/23/at pmI notice that this complaint was filed on this date at am, hrsbefore we were even scheduled to move herI am assuming that this is a type error.When I was first contacted by her, informed her that we had a job scheduled for that same morning and that her job start time depended on when we finished the first jobShe agreed and said that it was fine so we reserved the moving truck for pickup at pmOn the 23" of MayAfter showed up at the first job, quickly assessed the situation and knew that it would go way beyond the time that it was scheduled for and called my wife to inform her and to contact *** and rescheduleMy wife contacted *** to inform her that we would have to reschedule the job for Sunday and the reason why*** naturally had some issues, which is expected, and agreed to reschedule for SundayMy wife then switched the truck reservation for Sunday morningThen after contacting her family, *** called back several times insisting that we leave the job we were on and come move her motherMy wife tried to find other people to help her, tried to help her find help for that same day and literally bent over backwards to accommodate her in any way possibleIt was at this point that either *** or her sister contacted my wife and rudely called her a liar, and that she was not trying to help at allThey then started insisting on Some sort of compensation for their troubleWe have never collected or asked for any money from them for this job and it is paid upon completion*** then responded by canceling the move for Sunday, stating that she would not use us if we were the last moving company on EarthSo my wife cancelled the jobThe job cancellation was at the request of the customer after the rescheduled date was agreed to by both of usIt was at this point, our phone rang and rang constantlyI believe that this is when the complainant stepped in and started trying to get a monetary compensation for the cancelling of the jobWe informed them before they cancelled the job that we would do it for cost, because I was not going to lose money compensating them for a job that was agreed upon rescheduling, and then cancelled by themDoing it for cost would have saved them about 150-dollars, off of our already low rate, upon completion of the jobThis was not accepted, and only caused more harassing phone calls to my wifeMy wife then contacted me, in tears, after answering their calls and being subjected to their harassmentI then told her to tell them to call me at the job I was on, which she didI answered the phone and was bombarded with demands of doing the job on Sunday or compensating them monetarify, I did raise my voice because I was not being given any opportunity to respond to her demands so naturally I tried to make myself heardI notice also, in her complaint, that she put the cost that they would have saved with us, until they cancelled the job, as if they had already scheduled it with someone elseThen contradict themselves by saying that they believe the additional cost would be the cost to find another companyI would have been apologetic and resolved the whole situation if I would have been able to respond to her when she calledShe, at this point did not want to resolve anything, except to just being given moneyI never told her that she should be more understanding and forgiving eitherI did tell her to tell people what she thought of us, that we stand behind our policies and that she agreed to themThis is when she said that she was not ***, but the complainant, and had not agreed to anything, informed her that she was not my customer then and to talk to her sister who had agreed to everything and then she, herself cancelled the jobThe bottom line is this, she knew from the beginning that everything was based on when we would complete the first job and agreedShe then agreed to the rescheduled date for the Then she called making demands and cancelled the jobWe did everything possible to accommodate themThey would have saved the money that they think we owe them if we would have completed the job, but they cancelled itFrankly, after they were so rude to my wife after she tried everything she could to help them, I am glad that they cancelledIf they had not been so rude, and unaccommodating, themselves and cancelled the job with a 150-savings, everything would have been taken care ofAlso, we have been in business for years now and maintain a star rating on multiple sites, such as movinghelper.com and our own website, moveitforyou.orgI understand that we cannot satisfy every single customer perfectly and have maintained this system of scheduling since the beginningWe have had to reschedule occasionally and to this date, this is the only customer that complained about it because all customers are informed that it all hinges on the job before it and agree, if there is no agreement then there is no scheduling of their jobI am sorry that we had to reschedule them, but it is our policyI truly feel that nothing would have been good enough for them and that they are just trying to make a few dollars at our
