Move Mortgage Reviews (%countItem)

We were misdirected in believing that we were "pre-approve" for a home loan and after 5 months of searching and getting outbid on every home we submitted an offer to we finally had someone accept our offer and we complied with providing any documents that were requested of us, keeping to the contract deadline dates by getting the home inspected $390.00, and having it appraised $550.00 to only be told by *** with Move Mortgage that the underwriters are very backed up and he didn't know if our loan would have an approval or denial by the deadline date to terminate so we had no choice but to terminate the contract and lose out of the home of our dreams if we didn't want to lose out on our $3,500.00 earnest monies. We were supposed to close on 07/08/2020, and to-date 07/20/2020, we still have not heard back from the underwriters. I do not recommend Move Mortgage if you are a first time buyer or at all! The lack of communication is stressful and the fact that we are out $940.00 is unfair!

Complaint: ***

I am rejecting this response because: I have called to follow-up regarding the full credit refund they responded that we will receive to ask how they will refund us the monies. I have left a voicemail and several text messages to *** with no response to-date. We are simply asking that they correct their false guidance in leading us to believe we were approved and paid $940.00 total with inspection and appraisal fees. Also, the voicemail that *** with Move Mortgage said they would only be refunding us the $550.00 appraisal costs.

We are not satisfied with their lack of communication or response to text or phone calls.

Sincerely

Revdex.com:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me. I received a text from *** from Move Mortgage requesting my mailing address so I provided it to him and shortly after within minutes I received a call from a person names *** who stated that he was the CEO of Move Mortgage (iLOANS Colorado) or (iHOMES Colorado) and he said that he was also calling to confirm my mailing addressed and advised that a full refund of $940.00 will be issued today by check and placed in the mail today. He did apologize for the inconvenience and said that the lender who they went trough is taking 90 days to close on loans and wished us luck in the home buying process should we continue down that road.

I am hoping that the said refund check does arrive in the mail within the next few week and my trust in people can be restored a little; especially in today's world!

Thank you everyone involved in getting this complaint/dispute resolved with a satisfactory outcome in the end!

Sincerely

I contacted this company to help me with a home loan as a first time home buyer. I was working with Tyler *** at Move Mortgage. Tyler first told me that I was pre-approved and I started the loan process with him. I paid $625 for an appraisal as part of this process. It was less than 2 weeks before my closing date when Tyler contacted me stating that I was no longer approved by myself and that I needed a co-borrower due to my written income verification. He stated that the co-borrower only needed to make $200 a month and then after I made my first payment that I could refinance the loan and get them removed. After I couldn't find a co-borrower, I spoke to other lenders about it and was told that they only needed to request a new income verification. When I texted that to Tyler, he didn't respond to me for a few days. Now getting less than a week before my closing date, I sent an email to Tyler & Briauna *** letting them know how unprofessional it is to completely not respond to me. That the things he told me were a lie and that since he's only been in the business for several months, he doesn't know everything in that field. Brandy *** called me on Saturday to discuss my email. I let her know that he's misrepresenting the company and providing false information and that it could cause a lawsuit on them. Because if he's telling that, what else is he telling others? Brandy said that she'd send me a follow-up email but never did. I've left several messages with their receptionist, sent several emails and still never heard anything back from them. They are HORRIBLE and DISGRACEFUL to the loaning industry.
