Movepro adhered to (as was documented and signed by the customer) and furnished the customers insurance request

I had worked on both of the days that the ***s were loaded and deliveredI also had visited afterwards to help accommodate the ***s with any repairs and review the damages that were mentionedThe load day we arrived early in the morning like any other typical move we made sure to have plenty of industrial moving blankets and boxes for packing and protecting the home goodsBeing the foreman on the job we did our walk through and I had explained exactly how I planned on moving themEverything in the house had been padded and protected dressers and anything with draws was shrink wrappedAll the glass had been pad wrapped and card-boarded and loaded into the truck as safety as possibleWe took extra care in making sure everything would go as smooth as possibleUnfortunately from time to time when a truck is loaded in the upwards of 25,000lbs and then driven any distance things do happenThe day of the offload I had tried to make arrangements with the ***s to offload the next morning because of the size of the jobs, but they declinedWe worked until 3am and regardless of how we were treated we worked as efficiently and hard as possibleI took pictures of things that were "damaged" even though some things previously existedMr [redacted] refused to pay at the end of the workday until we could come to agreement on reimbursement of damaged goodsWhich we did reimburseWe also free of charge, had gone out to their home to touch up a few of the items and even came to an agreement way above the insurance that was selectedMrs [redacted] declined and offered to take us to courtI believe and in my experience we have gone above and beyond for people who are simply trying to take advantage of our companyWe always do right by the customer and always at our expenseWe take our responsibilities to our customers very serious and always strive for perfectionour reviews and our record speaks for itself.Thank you, [redacted] and the MovePro family Operations manager/ Co-owner (c) [redacted]

Original email stating the damages incurred during the move and missing items were sent to *** *** on 9/21, per our insurance agreement a check should have been sent out to us for I sent another email out to *** on 10/asking for reimbursement so we could put this incident behind us, I received no response Per the message from *** stating we were compensated per our insurance agreement, we have not been.

off of that inventory and under the impression that everything be completely packed and ready to go is where I believe the misunderstanding isThe night before the job I called and spoke with ***, and he informed me that a lot of packing was not done on your partI informed *** it would not be an issue and we would help you guys pack and ensure that everything gets from point A to point B safelyUpon arrival of my crew they informed me that we would need a lot more materials then expected and possibly another guyI had spoke with *** and told him right then and there of the situation and that the cost was going to change drastically, and he was completely understanding of the situationThe gentlemen who had left had to leave due to medical conditions, and seeing how the job went over so much because of a lack of readiness I could not argue with him to stay the last hoursAlso you had stated quotes from other moving companies which our final price landed in the middle of both so based on the situation I feel as though we were all in the same ballpark for priceWe were beyond fair in our price and everything is itemized and broken down by cost for youWe sent out an extra worker for the cost of his hourly rate to try and sympathize with the situation, and only because we want to do right be peopleUnfortunately we don't get rental trucks, materials, and fuel for free so we did have to charge you for those things, but as would any other companyI'm sure the *** *** will show up when you are completely unpack seeing we have never had an issue with things going missing and not showing up after unpacking.Thank you,*** *** and the MovePro family From owner/president:I am upset about the claim made against our company and towards the efforts of service, and I feel compelled to respond in this mannerIn my three years of business with MovePro there have been a couple of customer situations that I have had to correct because as hard as we may have tried to make everything go as perfect as possible, we were unableIn those cases I did the right thing by my customers and in those scenario's, I refunded 100% of their investmentOne of those customers was so appreciative, that she later referred her friend to us for a full service moveOur service record is impeccableWe have not one complaint against our company, because we do in fact do what is right, provide exceptional services, and we prove itWhat I have learned since my time in business is that there are all kinds of people out there and some people try to take advantage of other peopleThis is absolutely one of those timesThis customer Mrs***, was not even present at the time of estimate, *** *** (Mrs***'s husband) was and he told us they would be packed and they were notDue to the fact that the *** family was not packed it added time, labor, and materialsNot to mention all this was covered 100% with *** *** before the work day even began and he expressed to our operations manager that he understood. More than anything that was upsetting was that not only is this a blemish on our three years of hard work, but in the manner that it was conducted*** *** * was notified with well under 50% of the whole story and that Mrs***s affiliation with the *** *** was used to gain sympathy in a direct attempt to gain additional funds from our company. Its not rightI could spend the next couple of paragraphs advertising what I have done in my life and the charity services we provide along with the core values that I live by today as a Veteran of the ** ***, with one tour in the middle east as an infantryman but I will leave it at thatAnything more would be a plea and we have done nothing wrongI have never had to respond in this manner, and although I am a little upset, I feel compelled to defend my companies efforts?

I respectfully reject Move Pro's response to my allegations. I have forwarded MY response to THEIR response as well as a breakdown of the costs each of the movers provided to me. It is obvious that their estimate was clearly out of range. I don't think I should have to pay in excess of 95 percent of an estimate due to their inability to accurately estimate a job.
