Review: Contacted this company for a move. Received an estimated quote for $475 with the agreement that non of our furniture or mattresses needed to be wrapped before loading. When the driver arrived he attempted to get my wife to sign a contract stating that we would pay hundreds of dollar for packing material. She refused, and then called me. I called the owner and talked to her, reminding her that our agreement specifically stated no packing materials. This made no difference whatsoever to the driver. My wife finally agreed on $40.00 for "packing" the mattresses. 1/2way though the move the guy them tried to charge us for wrapping other stuff. At this point some of our possessions were on the truck, and the driver threatened to drive off with them.

We finally compromised on $40.00 for the mattresses and no other packing materials (again). We helped load, and the driver told his guys to work slower within the hearing of witnesses. When we started to help them load, the driver told me to stop because "you have a minimum hours to pay so I can make money." He complained more than once that the move wasn't profitable enough for him. We were promised 3 workers, but in the end it was 2 workers and the driver, who slept all day long in the truck.

When we arrived at the new house, the driver then added on charges for packing materials that his team didn't use, and charged us $50 for the mattresses, claiming that $40 had been an estimate. He also added extra time and money to the bill. He refused any type of payment but cash up front for an estimated unload time. We beat the unload time by more than half an hour, but when I went out to talk to him about a refund he jumped in his truck and drove away.

In my opinion, this company subsists on scamming the customer with low quotes, then nickle and dimes them. The final price for the move was more than 50% higher than the estimate. The driver threatened to take our things and leave multiple times. He broke the agreement I had with the manager of the company and the person who scheduled the move, and when I tried to resolve the problems told me "I don't want to hear it."Desired Settlement: I'd like an adjustment of the price closer to the estimate, and specifically would like the extra 1/2 hour of labor, the $50.00 for packing the mattresses, and the $10.00 he charged us for packing materials that weren't used.

Review: The cost to move was twice as much as the estimate with charges for wrapping materials that were excessive and unneeded. Also, did not set up any furniture at final destination. There were things broken and lost and In the street. Multiple nicks and dings at new location. Mover, [redacted], threatened to not unload our belongings unless he was paid in Cash upfront before hand. He estimated time to unload. He owed us money back on time and said to call the office. Numerous office calls and messages and no response. The movers were slow and took multiple breaks ans smoke breaks. The whole job was awful and a scam. He had your belongings, and you pay or else. Multiple threats and bullying!!! Never hire this companyDesired Settlement: A refund of the money that is owed for services not rendered. There are at least 5 witnesses to what went on. All witnesses are not family related.

Review: I hired this company to help me move out of my house that I sold in [redacted] becuase there rates were reasonable. I spoke to trish over the phone and she told me that there is a 3 hour minimum and a 1 hour drive time at 78.00 dollars per hour which would come to 312.00 total plus wrapping any glass I had but just pay for the materials. she also told me I would be getting 3 workers and a 26 foot truck and based on what I had to move it should be done in less than the 4 hour minimum. the three guys arrived at 845am and only one came in and asked me to initial the paper so they can start right away. they didnt actually start working until almost 930am but were charging me since 845am. the guy that had me sign was not a worker his name was sam and he is just the driver and he stood around and told the two other workers what to do and I over heard him tell them to move slow, it took them 4 hours just to load the little bit of stuff that I had and I kept asking how much longer and he kept saying not too much longer..I didnt get 3 workers but I was paying for 3 which is reallyDesired Settlement: after arriving at my storage unit to unload sam tells me you need to pay in full before they unload my stuff into the storage unit so I asked him what is my final bill since it was suppose to be around 450.00 dollars and he started adding alot of additional things on the bill which brought it up to 988.00 dollars which is more than double and he said I had 10 minutes to pay or else he was keeping my stuff and leaving which he did because I didnt have that amount and you cannot get that amount

Review: On 6/14/2013 I hired Movers Authority to move my belongings from [redacted] at [redacted] to [redacted] at [redacted]. When the movers

arrived at my new apartment complex they damaged the apartment complex gate near the loading dock with their moving truck. My apartment complex has since charged me for damages under the conditions

of my lease which states tenants are liable for guests.

In addition the movers claims of being insured were false. The movers insurance had expired at the time of the move.Desired Settlement: I wish to be reimbursed for the damages I was charged for the gate damage.

Dear Sir or Madaam,

I want to inform the Revdex.com that my case against Movers Authority has been resolved. They have paid me for the damages to my apartment gate which were specified in complaint #[redacted] and previously by complaint #[redacted]. Please update your records to reflect the change.

Review: These people are total scams they did not inform me of any packing fees in there initial to 2 page agreement. They then get to my home and their truck will not start so I had to give them a jump. The contract stated three workers when they got there one guy said he was the driver and did not do labor work total scam of hours. In addition they charged me a packing fee of 457 dollars which was not part of the original agreement. There telemarketer told me it would be 70hr 70 trip charge and 5% of the total. I specifically asked her ([redacted]) is that it and she told me yes. In addition upon unloading my furniture at my new location they caused significant damage to the walls which were undamaged and freshly painted. I called and asked for my calls to be returned no one has called me I even emailed the owner [redacted] and she will not return my calls. These people are scams and I will spread the word via social media until justice has been done. Regards, [redacted]Desired Settlement: I want my packing fee money back because that is what it will take to fix my walls they damaged

Review: The first thing they were a day late(no phone call)This company did not disclose all of there hidden fees or that they only accepted cash(after they took our credit card info over the phone)After we settled on signed and paid cash they requested more to bring and set up our furniture and other belongings. After we told them we would not pay anything else they unloaded everything on the front lawn.During the moving process they damaged a number of things(dressers tables mattress}After repeated phone calls we finally got hold of them and the refuse to pay for any damages and have been very rude(profanty and hanging up on me}Desired Settlement: I would like some amount of refund for damages and for us having to bring the furniture in ourselves when thats what we hired them for
