Movers on Duty are a VERY can-do outfit. Our moving schedule was thrown out and they simply found time to reschedule at the end of a long day to move our home contents. The team were always courteous and worked very hard and very quickly – with nothing damaged. In addition to the high quality, they were also very low-priced – so excellent value for money. That they offered a fixed rate also helped allay our fears about escalating costs. Our move was a temporary one so we will almost certainly be looking to use them again.

Movers On Duty were great! They were on time, caring, uniformed and were a pleasure to deal with. I know we aren't the easiest customers to deal with but instead of complaining all they would say is "sure no problem".We couldn't have been more pleased, specially because they even helped us move our Jaccuzi which wasn't originally part of the job but they did so great moving everything else into our new home that we figured we should have them move that too instead of calling a different company just for that.
I love these guys! No wonder why they have an A+ rating with the Revdex.com.

The owner of the company called me weeks in advance to confirm the time, location, and answer any questions I had. He was very accommodating from the beginning all the way to the end, when my U-HAUL had a mechanical problem, which completely shifted my move-in time from 10AM to 5PM. He was so understanding, and did not charge me extra with one-day notice! When the movers arrived (Bobby & Troy) it was 91 degrees outside, which means it was over 100 degrees in my home since the A/C was turned on late. They worked extremely hard and did not damage any of my items. My Victorian Sleigh bed was quite cumbersome to put together, but they were troopers, stayed late and completed the job. Thanks again!

I moved from Baltimore to Alexandria. These guys were top-notch in moving me from the storage facility to my new townhouse. They were careful with my belongings. Although the move started out rough (I directed them to the wrong facility), the guys were very professional, kind, and personable.

I use Movers On Duty for work. We often have moves that entail relocating entire households and they need to be completed before the residents get home from their day. Movers On Duty ALWAYS make our "deadline". The workers are genuinely polite, and do a fantastic job! They have become an important part of how I can perform my duties at work. I would highly recommend Movers On Duty for your moving needs!!

Review: In moving my bed pieces, where one of the metal screws was attached it was damaged. I noticed the damage and [redacted] told me that it was where a wooden peg was, which made sense since I removed all the wooden pegs and all the metal screws were tightly screwed into place, and it did appear to be that way since I wouldn't know of the correct position until I put the bed together. However, in the case of putting together my bed I've discovered that to be a load of [redacted] and I find it extremely suspect that the metal peg was replaced. During the unwrapping they would have noticed that it was the metal screws position that was damaged and instead of telling me and being honest they removed it from it's damaged position and put it in the non-damaged peg and then lied to me when I questioned them. Not only that but I heard [redacted] tell him about the damage because I was in the other room, so [redacted] was well aware of the issue. So, it doesn't fit together how it should, and it's pretty ridiculous that they knew it was damaged, made the concerted effort to switch it and then lied to me. Also, it took them 4.5 hours to travel from [redacted], MD to [redacted], DE. Lets round up and say that's 100 miles one way, which means they averaged less than 25 mph, where did they go, what took them so long and why did they repeatedly lie about their ETA when I called several times.Desired Settlement: I require restitution in the amount of $50 for the damage to my furniture and an additional $50 for punitive damages due to the fact that the employee made the effort to cover up the damage and then lied when I questioned him about it.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me. However, they have yet to fulfill their side of the agreement. I sent the required material over week ago and have received no response back. If I do not receive something back then clearly this isn't resolved.
