I was interested in getting a few quotes from moving companies through movers.comWhen I submitted information on my move I received an e-mail stating four companies would be reaching out to meI ended up receiving multiple calls and e-mails from 10-companies all the next day! My phone was ringing off the hook, if I hung up on one person they just kept calling back, my inbox was flooded, it was like they gave out my information to every moving company in the United States!

Further to our conversation, yesterday about the complaint we have from one of our client, *** The filled a chargeback and we provided the rebuttals from our side and attached is the response from the Chargeback
Department The funds have been debited from our account and we have stopped our services to them You can review the complete document to see that even though we charged their card as per the agreement, they still filled a chargeback and claimed the funds even after we delivered them the services

We spoke to Mr*** *** and resolved the issue, On mutual grounds we agreed to compensate for the inconvenience caused to him by sending him a token amount of $Attached is the copy of the check for your perusalThe check has been mailed out
to him yesterday and Mr*** said once he receives the physical check, he will contact Revdex.com and withdraw his complaintFor any additional information, questions or concerns, please feel free to contact meBest Regards, Ricky S

Review: I was interested in talking to someone about helping me move out of state. I'd found a website "movers.com", and I called. I'd already tried to no avail to reach 3 of their listed affiliates, and so I was calling to get help with info about the process directly from the sites direct phone number. When the agent "Harry" asked for my phone number, and other information, I declined, and explained that I didn't want him to forward my info to his affiliates and then I'd have random calls all day, so I wasn't going to do that, but that I would continue to try to reach someone on my own since he apparently couldn't be of much more help, but thanks anyway. Well, maybe 20 minutes later, I got a call from a moving company! 10 minutes later, another! I called "Harry" and told him off! I had clearly stated that I wasn't giving him my info, and why. He'd clearly taken my Info off of his caller ID box and filled out an online form in my name! I hadn't been able to reach anyone else, and he had been the only person I'd talked to! He told me that he'd remove my info, and I told him that he had no right to put it in his system in the first place! I got another call! I'd told this man that I'd never filled out an online form, and he insisted that I did! He knew my full name, and where and when I was moving from and to! "Harry" is the only person I'd had that conversation with! I later saw a form that one would fill out to invite these calls - I certainly never did that! "Harry" did! I am certainly no longer interested in doing business with him, or his company! I have been on the National Do Not Call List for years! He had no right to violate the peace and quite of my home by sharing my information - clearly against my wishes, simply because I'd called and asked a few questions! "Harry" has told me that I have to wait until Monday to have my request to be removed addressed! This is Saturday! I'm trying to move. I'm already dealing with enough! I say, it's Harry that should be removedDesired Settlement: Movers.com should not be able to advertise their phone number on there site as if it is there for assistance. They already advertise a form that one can fill out - by choice, if one would like to invite "Movers.com" affiliates to call. The consumer should be aware that when you call for assistance, "Movers.com" will not respect your privacy, and that they will release your information to whom ever they choose. You do not actually have a choice in this action, because Movers.com clearly feels that by the fact that you've called them, that they have the right to even go so far as to fill out their online form on your behalf, using nothing more than only the information that shows up on their caller ID box - with, or without your permission! Callers should be aware that if they call Movers.com, their privacy will be violated! I want my information removed from their data base, and I'd also like to know I can can file any sort of charges against "Harry" and or the company for his behavior

Review: [redacted]

I am rejecting this response because: After speaking with the company's representative Mr. Ricky S, I found him to be quite arrogant and disrespectful! I feel that as he supposedly represents the company, he could have been a little more concerned about the damage done to the customer, rather than just the complaint that I'd filed here. I feel that the "token" amount (as he calls it) was just an attempt to satisfy the Revdex.com's faith that he is in fact sincerely sorry for his agents behavior, and that he was doing everything he could to right the wrong done. This is not the case at all. I've finally grown tired of his insistence that I take down my experience with his company, while at the same time have to engage him and his accusatory conversations about "my" behavior! That in itself, is just his pitiful attempt to deflect from the issue at hand, and the issue at hand is in the fact that "I" filed a complaint against them - not the other way around! I am a fully grown man, in my on home, on my own phone, listening to this man continue to try to find fault in me, repeatedly interrupting me when I speak, and then accusing "me" of whatever just came out of "his" mouth! After enough of this, I finally told him what he could do with his check! He's offered me money - only because this complaint disturbs him so. I didn't ask him for any money! I did however, ask his agent to remove my info from their site immediately after I'd found out what had been done. Nobody cared to do anything then! Why should "I" now? I was told that I'd have to wait! Meanwhile, their affiliates are calling me left and right! I've had the peace and quiet home my home violated, simply because I'd called MOVERS.COM to ask a few questions about the process in regards to hiring a moving company. I never gave anyone my permission to publicize my personal information- information that I've paid for years to remain private, but this company's agent deliberately collected my info and published it as if he were me - without my knowledge or permission! Now this Mr. S wants to try to attack me for "my" attitude? Ridiculous! I have every right to be bitter, and for him to think that offering me a couple of dollars, that I'd take it and run - like a dirty little rat that he can just toss a piece of cheese to, is even more offensive! I've told him what "I'd" like him to do - if he's so sincerely sorry, but he doesn't care about that. All he wants me to do is submit to his desires, and remove my complaint from this site! Mr. S accused me today of trying to make this about money. I wrote this complaint long before anybody had said anything about money! I'd never asked him for a dime! I had money when I'd called to possibly do business with his company! He's the one who'd offered me "money!" What he doesn't realize is that, I have my own money, and that I may have been a little better served by seeing a little more of his integrity! He can keep his money! This is a most despicable company! I will never forget my experience with them. I will spread the word about this company on all of my Facebook pages, and write more reviews about my experience with them on various other sites as well! People should know, that when they call MOVERS.COM, THAT THEIR PRIVATE INFORMATION MAY BE SHARED, WITHOUT THEIR KNOWLEDGE OR PERMISSION - simply for just calling in for a question or two! People should know, that if you have a problem with this company, that they may not be treated with respect and curtesy, but that instead, they may be attacked, and accused just as I was! I'm glad that Mr. Ricky S has finally shown the true side of his face! Now I know for sure that I'd made the right move when I brought my complaint to this office! People should know my story, and I'm so thankful that the Revdex.com is here for us all!

Regards,

Review: Be very cautions not to fall in our footsteps! Company's owner "Mr. [redacted]" with a British accent is not an existing person. We received numerous solicitation letter from "Mr. [redacted]" But after we agreed to try their services and pay, this person vanished. Never replied to any of our email or phone call messages.

An advertisement video that was emailed to us by Mr. [redacted]s" Used Subliminal Messages technology to brainwash clients; the images of companies that allegedly were working with Movers.com and became very successful , were flashing on a screen and disappearing quickly before processing further and reach the conscious level. The video was designed so you cannot stop it to review.

Mover.com collected $350 from our account, but never provided promised service. Once we realized that neither of 2 emailed addresses that had given to Movers.com received moving leads we contacted "Mr. [redacted]" by email - no reply. We contacted him by phone - no reply. An Indian gentlemen with a fake name "[redacted]" called us back. At first he refused to talk about this issue saying he is busy working, then he accused us of not telling the true. Mr. "[redacted]" argued that he did emailed us leads and it was our problem that we did not get them.

We asked Mr. [redacted] to provide as with a proof (simply forward emails that per his argument were sent to us) "Mr. [redacted]" was not able to do that - His Argument was that he has no ability to retrieve emails that are sent from his computer system. When we ask him to get his technical support team involved, he simply did not reply.Desired Settlement: This argument is going on since June. Our next step is to file a claim though court. If Mover. com is a legitimate business they MUST refund our money $350.00 If this case goes to court we will be demanding to cover courts costs and late fees
