I am rejecting this response because:*** hasdone everything possible to avoid paying for the items he damagedI originallywas asking for the weight his employee said the hutch weighed, but then afterhe argued that weigh I weighed it on a bathroom scale and sent him pictures andvideo of the weighing of the SOLID OAK “hutch”He then offered me a pound. As far as the table I found one at Pottery Barn where the table was purchasedthat weighed pounds so he then agreed to pound for the table.I can tellthat *** avoids paying everyone that has a claim by the steps he takes andknows well.Mycomplaint to the C.P.U.Cis about his charging over the “not to exceed” numberhe quoted meI would not even have had placed this complaint if he had justpaid the damagesBut after looking into it farther he scammed me there tooIwill leave that up to the C.P.U.Cto decide.I have notput up negative reviews about his companyI put up one truthful complaint onYelp but it was not posted as one of the visible reviews so I removed it.In responseto ***’s numbered items:He may be able to repair the slidein the hutch but cannot repair the finish abrasions or the split in the table. So he repair even if it worked would be partialAlso he did not even offerthis until the C.P.U.C said he was liable for replacement value because he didnot fill out the insurance portion of the contract correctlyIn fact ***mislead me when I asked for additional insuranceBut that is not the issuewith the Revdex.comThe item he said was the same wasnot solid oak His settlement was way under thecorrect weight and the contract per pound He did offer a bet, is this evenlegal? This is the way *** does businessEven if I were willing to bet ***’spast actions indicate he would not payBut I am not willing to bet anyway This offer is way under actualweights and he knows it

I am rejecting this response because:The drier door was fixed by company this morning, as he said he would do the day of the move on 9/15/ I don't think the owner ever reached out to me I always had to call him to find out the status It has been fixed as promised now and that is all I ever requested from them

Consumer states: I have received a message from the consumer that I will be receiving a reimbursement and will call back if I do not receive it

Consumer states: I still have not received my refund as promised. The company told me that they were in the area to drop off the check but I was not comfortable with that. I want them to send the check to the Revdex.com directly and they will forward it to me.

Company states: I have spoken with the CPUC and even they had said that I have done everything I can and even went above for the customer. Under my contract it clearly states I only have to replace the knob on the dresser or whichever specific piece to fix the item and not pay for the entire dresser but I am still going to offer the refund to appease the customer.

Unfortunately [redacted] didn't understand or read the agreement for moving services she signed by utilizing my service. It clearly states the basic coverage at .60 cents per article pound (not the replacement value). Furthermore, as written in the agreement, I have a minimum of 60 days after receiving...

Review: I have been waiting 2 months to have my dryer door replaced when his employees damaged it. I was told a month ago that someone else dropped the ball and he would personally take care of it. Another month has gone by and no dryer door and no answering my phone calls. We had many other issues with his service that included the job was supposed to be completed and I would not pay for my then the 10 hours quoted. His employees did not move everything from the first location and did not put the furniture back together but stopped as soon as the 10 hours were up. He also showed up 2 hours late... There was also damage done to wooden furniture as well as damage to my walls that I did not even ask for because I was trying to be nice. I paid you cash the day of service, the only thing I am asking for is to repair the dryer door your employees broke when they moved my items.Below are the number of times I have called him regarding the damage that was to be repaired:Called 9/19 @ 4:45, he will order new door and have it installed.LM 10/13 @12:27LM 10/15 @10:0010/15 5:15pm [redacted] called back to let me know he was sorry and someone dropped the ball. He will make sure part is ordered and deliver to the house and to call him once it is here to have installed.11/11/14 LM @ 12:0911/13/14 LM @ 10:41 , told him I would be filing a complaint if this is not resolved.11/13/14 5:39, called rcvd machine but did not leave a voicemail.11/14/14 LM @ 8:34Desired Settlement: Replacement of the dryer door or the funds to do it myself.

Review: Moves mad easy damaged two items of mine they do not dispute that. They dispute the weight of the items. I claimed the wardrobe weighed 120 lbs and the table 40 lbs. The weight is important because they insure per weight. They claimed they needed verified weight. I found a table at Pottery Barn where the table was purchased that weighed 42lbs. So they agreed to that. I ten emptied out the wardrobe and set it on a bathroom scale and it read 230 lbs. They will not accept this weighing method. I agreed to calling it 200 lbs for the wardrobe and 40 lbs for the table. His response was that he would bet me the wardrobe doesn't weigh that much. I said I just want payment for my damaged items not to bet with him. He asked why not. I have this and the very lengthy messages in a text. At this point I want them to pay for 240 lbs at the contract price of 0.60 cents per pound for a total of $144.Desired Settlement: $144 in insurance returned to me.
