Dear Revdex.com;Thank you for contacting me and relaying this complaint from a potential client I'm very sorry that Mrs*** feels she is entitled to her refund, however, the refund is our assurance that our clients will do what they say they are going to do after we have spent time and effort
to meet with them, organize and schedule their move I don't get a deposit for a "tentative" move. Mrs*** had given the community and myself a deposit for a move that we had scheduled for the following week. Arrangements had been made and other opportunities had been turned down, based on the ***'s desire to move to the community.The community was paying for the majority of the move ($1500), according to the community and the ***'s, so, I did not leave a contract with the ***s I typically write on my brochure the approximate cost of the move ($in this case)which I leave with the clients.There have been no emails back and forth, only the one conversation that Mrs*** expressed to NASMM. I did offer (and still do) to apply the deposit to a future move. When I collect a deposit, I tell people that the deposit is to "save the date"Regardless, my company and my moving company had this move scheduled for these people, and only these people, this is what the deposit is for. In closing; As you know, I have been in business and a member of NASMM for nine years. This is the first time that anyone has either asked for their deposit back, let alone, filed a complaint. I am rejecting this response because:Moves Made EZ representative did not verbally or written  did not state that our deposit of $200.00 was not  refundable,  or we did not receive a written estimate of the moves cost.  We cancelled the tentative  date of the move with Moves Made EZ  within 24 hours of our conversation with her.
