After a string of terrible movers in the past I had the pleasure of use moving with Movex these gentlemen made my move so easy and stress freeWell these guys arrived on time and worked hard all day even it was raining but they didn't even once stop or slow down, they worked so hard, were so friendly and professiona, they took time to wrap anything they felt like required and carried allof my belongings with a clear sense of pride in their job I would definitely call them again if I'm moving againThanks for such a wonderful job guys
Movex showed up right on time (in fact they were early), did a thorough but quick assessment of what would be moved and how/when to move it, and got started right away Mats were laid, wrapping was completed (no extra charge), and overall I am very satisfied with the end result The move went very smoothly, they took good direction from me No muss, no fuss
This was the most grulling, unprofessional move I have ever had An initial quote in person and estimated time max hrs and promised shrink wrapping of furniture They showed up late, didn't shrink wrap anything and used up packing tape I had then I had to go out and buy more for them to use because they provided nothing to protect possessions
This move went past 10+ hours I will emphasize this, 'they suggested at 7:at night' after already hrsand once most was moved in truck but they also left things behind, and due to how late it was to take truck to storage then meet up at new home in morning They took my visa and added at $hold charge for deposit only I called and complained after movers left that night regarding this whole process so farI was on phone for quite sometime
I asked for my customer copy of this manually processed transaction to which they never did provide me with Then I received while they were unloading a large transaction email warning on my VISA THEY PUT THROUGH, a $transaction then later in day another $ I called VISA to report this immediately and at this time those amounts are on hold
I never received a bill period despite my efforts
They put a large hole in wall while moving out treadmill, told me it would be fixed by one of the movers and never was fixed
They tried to say hole was there prior then lied by saying they called my cell all day to get ahold of me, yet I have cell bill to prove this was untrue
Up to that time of unloading my calls were answered immediately then never again could I get ahold of them
I paid to move to that home $700, hrs, guys and it was full of furniture To move from that home had very little furniture and boxes only and 10+ hours
First the 1st hour the guys played around with taking apart couch and loveseat (borrowed tools of mine) to which could of simply been lifted and moved into truck The next 1/hrs only one guy moving boxes as the other remained in truck doing what I am unsure
They stood outside by truck doing nothing more than moving period
As a single female, they indeed tried to take advantage of this situation
They were simply the most unprofessional, incompetiant movers and should not be in business
I hired them only as they were registered with the Revdex.com
I've just recently used Movex and I can't praise them enough! I knew the bottom line as far as price. The two Johns that moved me were excellent. Very quick and extremely careful. I couldn't have asked for a smoother move.

Great experience having Movex move me from Victoria BC to Calgary Alberta. The movers were very professional and efficient loading and unloading. They're prices are very competitive with other moving companies I researched and again, the professionalism and quality of their services I would rate as a 10. I would highly recommend Movex to all my friends and family. Good job guys!!!
I recently used Movex to relocate from Salmon Arm to Cochrane, AB, and they were excellent! I did a ton of research before I chose a company, and even considered doing it all ourselves as there were so many horror stories out there about these nefarious movers, but when Movex called with a really competitive quote, I thought I'd take the plunge... Of all the companies I contacted they were the ONLY ones who took the time to stop by my house and give me a quote - and when their estimate turned out to be inaccurate (I had a bit more stuff than they thought!) they were willing to negotiate the final price and not use any strong-arm tactics at all... More than that, the fellows that loaded and unloaded the truck were super careful and respectful, and they stored my items on the truck as-is during the 6 days between our move out and possession dates, so nothing was damaged or lost. The level of service AND the price were fantastic and I would absolutely use them if we ever move again!
