Review: I ordered an entertainment book on May *, 2014 and accidentally enrolled in the renewal program. I immediately telephoned customer service and cancelled the annual renewal enrollment on the same date. On May **, 2014 I ordered two Entertainment books for family members and verified at that time that no annual renewal had been activated and I was assured that it was not.

On 08/**/14 I discovered an unauthorized charge of $30.00 on my debit card creating a negative balance on that debit card. I immediately contacted ‘Entertainment’ customer service and was assured that the merchandise had not yet been shipped and that a refund would be immediately processed. I then transferred to funds to cover the $30.00 charges. The fee was credited the following day, and then the charges reappeared on my debit card account four days later. On 08/**/14 I again contacted ‘Entertainment’ customer service and was told that the merchandise was mailed on that date and that the charges would be refunded without a restocking fee when the merchandise was returned so I transferred the funds to cover the item. The merchandise arrived on September **, 2014 under the name and at the address of my daughter with a mailing date of 08/**/14 stamped on the merchandise return ticket. On September **, I returned the item as instructed and did not receive a refund. On 10/**/14 I telephoned the Entertainment’s customer service to inquire about my refund was informed by the customer service representative supervisor that in order to process my refund the entertainment book was to have been returned by September **, 2014. When I repeated the information regarding the prior cancellation, reviewed the time frames involved she stated that a $30.00 restocking fee is assessed for books returned late.

As I stated to the customer service representative several times the entertainment book in question was cancelled in May of 2014, and despite my efforts to correct the situation beforehand the book was shipped on 08/**/14, arrived on September **, which was four days after the 30 day return policy and immediately returned on September **, 2014.Desired Settlement: A refund of the unauthorized $30.00 charges to my credit card, the company honor the no restocking fee as agreed and an apology.
