To further my responce to this partyWhen I spoke to the lady of the house, then five minutes later the man of the houseI mentioned about the blankets, ( not moving pads ) for the covering of his furnitureI mentioned to one of them before we went to load them, about buying robe to secure the loadWhen I spoke to the gentleman about not being reponsible for the load with him driving the vehicle himself personally, he said he did not realize this factI asked him if he remembered a couple of weeks ago when we loaded him that he was told this by my team leaderHe said if they did, he did not rememberNo matter what moving company they chose to do a load only, the law states for all moving companies that we are not responsible for the load after we load up a truck for they are doing the driving for we do not know how the individual drives, maybe had to slam on the breaks to avoid another driver who might have cut them off, or weather he had to apply his breaks heavily for a read light or perhaps someone cutting him offI am truly sorry if anything did really happen to their belongingsBut I know the men of this company are well trained and experienced with a load only and I take it as an insult to be accused of damages when all we did was load a truck professionally and the customer drove out of state to their destinationGod Bless.Respectful;ly Submitted;*** *** **.***/***MovinOn LLC

I am rejecting this response because:Again, *** *** DID not speak either myself or my wife on the morning if the move.the movers never mentioned to us the need for more materialsWe had six dozen moving blankets(Moving pads) which was one dozen more than *** *** recommended in our initial conversationAdditionally, we had straps and many other packing supplies on handAlso, I left to deliver pieces to family members several times and if I had been asked to get more supplies, certainly would haveThis was NEVER mentioned by anyone on the moving crew. *** *** can state law all day long, the fact remains, he was asked multiple times on the phone and his crew, if his company was licensed, bonded and insuredClearly, this was misrepresentation of the truth which is negligence on his part as a business ***

I [redacted] received a couple of phone calls from this customer who needed our services to load up a rental truck for the family. They informed us they were going out of state and would be driving the truck themselves to save money. When my men got there, I received a phone call from the...
men stating that there were not enough blankets, not robe to safely secure the load. I spoke to the lady of the house and she informed me that she had enough blankets and rope. When my men with years of experienced finished with the load, they told the customer and received payment for the bill. A week or two later I received a phone call from the lady of the house telling me that alot of her furniture was damaged. I explained to her that once they take the keys to the truck, they take full responsibility for the driving and transportation of the truck as well as the contents my men loaded into the truck. I shortly afterwards received a phone call from the gentleman and explained to him what I shared with his wife and what they were told when we finished the load for them as they requested. Now I receive a complaint about damages when we did not drive the vehicle at all with their belongings inside going out of state.
