If we had your furniture we would have gladly given them back instead of having to go through the claims process but unfortunately we don'tJust like you received items that didn't belong to you someone else could have received yours and didn't come forwardI am sorry your items went missing but that is the reason for having a claim department in placeYou are to make a claim and you will be compensated according to the replacement package signed for at the time of pick- upYou have already been sent the settlement amount, now all you need to do is sign the settlement and a check will be mailed to you in that amount

CUSTOMER WAS TOLD PRIOR TO DELIVERY THE AMOUNT DUE A CONTRACT WITH MOVING EXPRESS AND STORAGE WAS MADE AT PICK UP AND WAS SIGNED THAT THE REMAINDING BALANCE WAS FOR ADDITIONAL CHARGES SUCH AS WEIGHT AND PACKING

I am rejecting this response because:Like reccomended I filed a claim through [redacted] who denied it. When te furniture was delivered the movers refused to give me anything till I signed for it. Once everything was delivered they circled on my bill of landing what was left at the warehouse according to them. When I filled my claim I explained this and [redacted] said that since there were no notes they wouldn't accept it. However I thought my claim was to explain. An arbitrator is going to cost me more money on top of everything else and is not possible at this time

WE HAVE EXPLAINED MULTIPLE TIMES THE 21 BUSINESS DAYS POLICY FROM THE REQUEST DELIVERY DATE .. WE HAVE ALREADY DELIVERED HER HOUSE HOLD GOODS .

We did speak with this customer on multiple occasions regarding his missing items hence how he received the information on [redacted] If we get any customers furniture back from delivery or find in in storage space then the items are returned. We always urge our customers to start the...

claim process regardless in the meantime, that way if we don't have it than the process is already rolling. Once his claim is received it can take between 30-90 days to be processed.He will then be sent a settlement to sign. As far as his overall move balance goes he was given multiple discounts due to his complaints in which he took and paid. His balance was $5050.00 and it went down to $4750.00 and now after 6 months of being delivered he is asking for further compensation.He is going to get compensated for his missing items once his claim is entered and processed.

I am rejecting this response because: missing items as of 8-10-15 have still not been shipped. In fact as speaking to them today they are still not aware of the whereabouts of the Bike. They are only shopping the rivking chair.  This Company has not been professional in any sorts as regards to my missing items.

I am rejecting this response because: The office manager was not professional, when she told me it was nj big deal that two of my items were missing.  She was unwilling to assist me in finding my missing items.   Yes one of my items were found the day if delivery & the other I was told to wait & see if it was in the truck after all delieviers are done.  I needed to call everyday for an update on my items. Only to be told two days later that both missing items are still in NJ & will be sent via [redacted]  No date of arrival has been given & unless I call to follow up, I will not recieve one.

Contract was...

signed according to original amount. Additional items were added to the contract AFTER items were loaded. The new price was NEVER agreed to. Contact with the company was attempted about the additional amount multiple times per day and we were either given the run around or our calls were not returned. Contact was next to impossible until they showed up out of the blue at our house almost a week later. We told them we didn't agree to the price and offered to pay the original amount in money order as previously agreed upon. Company then demanded cash and threatened to hold our items in a storage locker and charge us storage fees. When we did not agree to pay the fee, they drove off with our things.

am rejecting this response because:  This mover is lying -I never threatened driver. They ended up getting my goods here which I still have not been able to account for everything and they charged me an additional $340.00 that was not part of the original contract with [redacted] whom they are serving as a sub-agent for to deliver my goods. The reputation of [redacted] and Moving Express have a long list of this very complaint from other consumers. They are Rogue movers!

WE DO APOLOGIZE FOR ANY INCONVENICE WITH THE DRIVER PUTTING THE STORAGE UNDER HIS NAME AND LEAVING THE KEY THEIR . HE IS NO LONGER OUR DRIVER .  It will take you step by step and will request paperwork your receive when delivered. It willl also provided phone numbers and addresses onces your paper is in the process to be sent to the adjusters. It takes 30 to 40 days for it to process.  Once its process it will get sent to the adjusters and will take 15 to 30 days.  They will send you a Release and Settlement of claim from [redacted] the adjusters. They will provide you a claim number. I will list the phones and names below. I am rejecting this response because: Moving Express has 30 complaints on them. [redacted] want to give me $267.00. In 6 months you think I would have got everything by now? I did not like the way I was treated. You can give a person multiple discounts when you overcharge me $2000 the balance was 2000 when they left Richmond according to your driver. Three day before delivery its $5050. I had to call them and I was shocked! I have two pieces of furniture that belong to someone else. Its cheaper to send me $267.00 then it would to bring me my furniture.  Tell him to give a call, that won't happen?
