I have some old tapes that are to be converted to discs. They are very special to me as they are of my husband’s last trip as a commercial airline pilot 24 years ago. He is now in a memory care facility.
I dropped the tapes at Moving Memories on May 21st, paid $55.00 and listened to a long spiel about how great their company is. The discs would be ready in 6 weeks. I came to pick them up on August 17- they were closed. I called and was told to log on to their website to make an appointment, which I did and received a confirmation. At the appointed time I was there to pick up my discs. I was greeted by a woman who said she was just starting on them! Said she had no knowledge of my appointment. I couldn’t believe they had told me six weeks and in three months they are not ready. Horrible service. The lady at the desk simply skirted around the issue, said she had no knowledge of any appointment I had made and could possibly get them ready later,
This company should not be in business. Extremely poor customer service, business skills and people skills. I would urge people to stay away and find another company to do business with

Our records show that a lab technician was working when you came to pick up your order, and because lab technicians are not trained to check in or check out orders, this may have contributed to the miscommunication. It is nearly 7 months and we are still waiting for order to be done. We paid for the service and even have a $50 credit based on previous order. I contacted the owner several times via mail and even left voice messages with no reply.
Our manager at the time had marked the clients World Trade Center commercial tape as shipped. The paperwork said it was shipped in October. We have shipped the *** a new disc and a full refund of $70.00 to the clients. We are truly sorry for the mixup.

We sincerely apologize for not being able to show a tracking number for your tape that was shipped. We did let go of the employee in charge of the shipping. We are a local buisness who does everything in house. We don't usually ship out orders. We did give a full refund. And we can re record the commercial footage for you. We are truly sorry and we would like to make this right.

We started with Moving Memories in November 2015 to have our super 8s converted to digital and placed on dvds for Christmas 2015. That deadline was missed so we hoped to have the project completed for Christmas of 2016. Well it is nearly October 2017 and we still do not have the final product. Communications with Moving Memories has been poor at best. Many times it took numerous emails and numerous voice mails to get a response. Today we had an appointment to pickup the final product and the folks at Moving Memories failed to show up. This was the last straw that lead me to filing this review. Our lessons learned, don't pay for the product up front like we did, pay only after your receive your product.
