This company is the absolute worse that I have ever encountered!! Initially they returned my calls in record timing to gain my interest in their businessThen however, after receiving my deposit, it was a little more difficult to get in contact with a representativeI gave them a very detailed inventory list for which they gave me a quote and a pick up day/dateI received a call two days before my scheduled pick up date saying that instead of arriving on the scheduled day, they would have to arrive a day earlier, which would be approximately hrs after the phone call (not even 24hr notice)When the guys arrived they tried to add more fees then what was in the contract iegas, mileage etcThey also charged extra to "repack" some of my things to meet "their standards" which I inquired about before hand!! Because I was moving out of state in two days I continued with this company that ended up charging me DOUBLE the initial quote given, I was furious!!! After relocating to my new location I had to call repeatedly to find out when my items would be deliveredThe customer service representatives became very annoyed with me because they could not estimate an expected delivery dateI asked to speak with a manager and got someone who was very offensive, disrespectful and unprofessional!!! They claimed the truck had broken down and was in the "shop!" He asked if english was my second language because I told him that it was unacceptable that they could not give me a date as to when my belongings would arrive!! It took weeks for my items to arrive at my new placeAnd, when they arrived my boxes and totes were damaged along with some items inside, furniture was missing, and the movers had the nerve to ask for a tip!!!! *** I still have not received compensation for my missing and damaged items!!

I am not bothering to file a complaint, since moving companies are completely unregulatedThis is more of a REVIEWSTAY AWAYGo with a large moving companyEverything about this company is a lie and the people who run the company are a bunch of criminals who will steal from you and then laugh in your faceAllow me to tell you my storyWe booked moving on up months in advanceThey promised they would arrive on the specific date (since our rent is prorated) and they quoted our cross country move at The day of the move, we calledThey said they were not in the area but would be there the following dayThe next day, they never showed upFinally, we had to depart for our cross country tripWe called our landlady, apologizing that our stuff was still in the aptMy partner's father promised to wait in our apt during the window of time the movers said they'd be there the next dayFor a week, the movers promised they would pick up our thingsWe ended up paying an extra month's rent because they DIDN'T EVEN BOTHER TO CALL AND TELL US THAT THEY WERE NOT COMINGFInally, days after they were supposed to pick up our stuff, they showed up, charging us DOUBLE THE ORIGINAL QUOTELet me make very clear: we did not add on ANY additional itemsWe provided an exact list, down to the size of each box, of our thingsWe provided our own packing materialsEssentially, the "QUOTE" they provide is a total scamWhen I called the moving company to express my shock and dismay at ALL OF THE ABOVE, he owner swore at me and said he was cancelling the moveMy partner called back to beg him to reconsiderHe said he would deal exclusively with her from then on
Skip ahead to the drop-off, a month and a half laterThe movers arrive, only instead of the THREE we were promised we get TWOThe reason? One of the movers was arrested for drunken and disorderly conduct the night beforeMy partner steps in as mover number 3, carrying heavy boxes from am-pm (I am a university professor, and was on campus that day)But rather than charge us LESS, they smack on another $surcharge for "extra distance." Apparently they are only paid to walk feet (approx) and beyond that you have to pay more
Of course much of our things were ruined, but the company does not careThey are criminalsPure and simpleThese people take advantage of others at one of the most stressful times of their lives, knowing that people are apt to pay more--really anything--once their stuff is held hostageDo you not yourselves--your things--in their hands
One more things, being rather clever criminals, this company goes by various namesI dont' recall the other names but other people doDo a little research, read reviews on this compnay on sites like YELPYou will find the other names and stories like mine
Hire a big moving companyIn the end it will cost the same and save you plenty of grief

very poor moving co. it was a short move less then a mile.the moved one bed 2 dressers they broke one, 2 couches.3 chairs and broke, and broke 1 a table and 4 chairs and scratched them they charged me 393 dollars.when they got done.and payed them.they asked me for a tip.in that last 14 years I have movers move me 8 times and was nevered asked for a tip ontil now.there tip was dont bet on the horses

This moving company is awful, and extremely unprofessional. It seems like one day person just decided to start a moving company business with no experience . They don't tell you about the fees and after they take your money they only want you to deal with the movers not with them. They say you will receive goods with in 4 to 7 days which I have not. The owner is rude and it seems like no one knows what's going on and what they are doing expect taking money. Please do not use this moving company it's a rip off and they charge you more once they arrive at your residence, so the quote does not stay the same even after you sign the contract . Beware!

These people should go to jail. They gave me a quote promised it wouldn't go up and then proceeded to double my price after they picked everything up. Then they are several days late delivering. Call and complain finally get to talk to the owner who screams and cusses me out over the price and moving date, and said that I can't nickel and dime him- he created that game. Which by the doubled price I told him I believed him. I said I couldn't' afford that and he said fine, he'll drop it off in Hollywood FL (meanwhile I am in KY). He said he doesn't give a f[redacted] about my stuff and he'll drop it off somewhere and just charge me for the labor of putting in on and off the truck. So I'm forced to pay for it. Then when it finally arrives delivery men were nice, but they had repacked my items and had my $800 camera in a box under the microwave and stereo. Stuff was packed horribly and several kitchen items broken. Also they took my bed frame apart and broke that as well as losing pieces of it. They took apart my tv stand and did the same thing though it is still usable. WORST PLACE EVER. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED.

I rate this company very poor because of my overall move experience with them and as a result of the difficulty I have had after my move with getting cooperation in getting a copy of the storage receipt associated with the Move.

Start off, I was quoted one price before the move after the agent asked me what I would be moving only to discover that the actual movers who arrived at my location indicated that it would be more even with knowing what all was moving. In my listing of items I included a sofa and loveseat, and the movers told me that my Sofa was way outside the size of a normal soft (a regular 3-cushion sofa is what I had).

When it came down to receive my household goods at my new location, the dispatcher was not able to give me a specific date and time that I could accept delivery; even mentioned that it was like the cable company in that they could provide a range of times. I was OK with that, accept that he wasn't able to give me a specific day and that he would have to call to let me know THAT day when they could come.

FInally, I needed to get a final receipt for all the charges and spoke with [redacted] who told me she would e-mail it to me. The receipt she sent did not include the storage charges, so I had to call her back to get that. She told me she would send it; After waiting for several days, I called back to follow up, and was told it takes a few days. Still after not getting it a week later, I called back and [redacted] told me that [redacted] was unavailable. I asked her who the manager was and she [[redacted]] told me that [redacted] was the Manager. I then asked for [redacted] manager and she said that [redacted] was the only one. I then asked for the owner, and she said it was [redacted]. Asked, "[redacted] Who?" and she told me "I'm not gonna give you any last names". I thanked her and hung up. I called back later and asked to speak to [redacted] and the clerk (whom I believe was [redacted]) said that she was at lunch and would not be back until 1:30PM. I called back at 1:30PM and was told to call back in 15 minutes. I asked to leave a voice message to have her call me back, and she said, "We don't have any voicemail here"
The service is rude and nasty and very unprofessional. I could never, in good faith, recommend anyone should use this unprofessional business

I called to get a professional estimate for my move. I very specifically stated each item in the move to get the most accurate estimate. I accepted the bid, understanding I was to furnish my own packing materials. Then the truck driver showed up and told me there would be an additional $40 charge for plastic bags for the mattress and box springs. I was never told these would be required when I spoke to the professional and included the bed as one of the items to be shipped. I told the truck driver that I was certain the bags must already be included in the bid, since I made it clear one would be shipped. I called the mover and had a most unpleasant conversation. I told him I had made many professionally handled moves and had never been required to bag mattresses, nor had I been told these would be necessary. I said I would not pay the additional charge and he cancelled the move. Of course my $80 dollar deposit has not been returned, either. If you want to have a good experience, LOOK ELSEWHERE. In one day's time I found another mover who did it for $250 less and did not require plastic bags. Shady business. Steer clear.
