I had a horrible experience with this company "Moving and Storage Services". Not only was I charged more than what was discussed and contracted, but the (3) movers got to my home and starting fussing amongst one another. Not mention that my family did most of the unloading of the truck, but the driver [redacted] (I believe that is how the name is spelled) purposely drove slow in attempt to eat up the time. This is the worst moving company I have ever used and I will not, REPEAT WILL NOT EVER use there services again. The manager, [redacted], does not return calls.

Then they were sending another truck that did not show up until 6pm. Once they arrived, they tried to charge hundreds of dollars above what was agreed upon and for items that I was specifically told would not be charged. The person from the corporate office was extremely rude when we complained. The truck they brought was way too small for our belongings. They broke several pieces of furniture as well as light fixtures and doors. They ended up using a bungie cord to strap our mattress and headboard to the back of the truck. A nightmare!!!!
Through the Groupon site I found a moving services offer for $240 which included 3 hours of moving time, 3 men and 1 van. Any extra time was valued at $125/hour not including the materials such as boxes, tape etc. I packed my entire house with the exception of the furniture: 1 king size bed, 2 Flat screen TVs and a mattress.
The day of the move, they arrived late and started complaining about the distance to walk inside the condo to their truck. As they started bringing things down to the moving truck, their pace became slower and slower until they finished moving my already packed 2 bedroom apartment in 5 hours.
The men were unprofessional mostly in complaining throughout the entire process and asking for drinks such as sodas. By the end, a certain Teddy gave us the bill for the work done and it amounted to $2,215.57. As I mentioned above, the groupon was for $240 + 2 extra hours at $125....They were unable to justify how they got to their amount of $2,215.57
It was Friday afternoon by now and we were supposed to have everything moved to the apartment building by now....But no, 5 hours later, they would only accept cash or credit cards for the payment, and since my card was supposedly not going through, they stopped working until I went to the bank to get cash! They only resumed working once I cam back with the cash in hand...
By the time they got to the other condo to move by things back in, the building did not accept them because they were too late....Being that it was on a Friday afternoon, I ended up without furniture, clothes, bed throughout the weekend and they took full advantage of the situation to tell us they were putting our belongings in storage for the weekend.
The next Monday morning, they arrive 1 hour late and the 1st thing they request is a payment of $1,181 more for the extra hours and storage fees!!!! I has no alternative put to give him my debit card if I wanted to see my furniture again, and at this point he refused to give me a receipt for everything that I have paid.
You would thing we went through enough...but no, once we finally got out things back, they had broken pieces of art, scratched furniture....it was a complete nightmare.
This company is a total scam - Groupon should not be associated with them and we will pursue them in the legal system and put in a review with the Revdex.com. I urge you to do the same for those of you have suffered through this terrible ordeal. They need to be stopped.
