Moving & Storage Services

The insurance claim check was not sent to me and I followed up with the moving and Storage but has not received any response.
The movers broke my table glass and I filed the insurance claim. I dealt with the dispute company who reviews the document and suggests the settlement amount. We agreed on $50 settlement. The dispute company said Moving and Storage company will approve the settlement amount and will cut the check. The dispute company forwarded the settlement release form on 9/29/2017 and I followed up with *** on 11/5/2017. I have not heard from him.

Billed me $300 for 'moving supplies fee' and all they did was wrap a few glass pieces in cardboard and tape.

Overcharged for amount of hours spent moving.
We signed two separate contracts which were each for $240 which covered one truck and three movers for 3 hours for a total cost of $480. During the move day, for your company's convenience, your company switched the original order of 2 separate trucks with three movers for three hours each to one truck with three movers for six hours. This was not authorized nor was it approved by either *** or myself.

Here is the timeline for June 1st-
10:20 AM- Movers arrived at 1st stop
12:15 PM- Movers leave 1st stop and drive to 2nd stop (2.6 mi away)
1:00 PM- Movers arrive at 2nd stop
2:56 PM- Movers depart 2nd stop to final destination
3:00 PM- I leave 2nd stop and head directly to final destination
4:15 PM- I arrive at final destination
5:45 PM- Movers arrive at final destination and inform me that I will need to pay $500 in cash before any unloading of the truck can begin.
X:XX-X:XX PM- Multiple calls placed to ***, the company representative as we try to resolve the issue.
6:24 PM- *** orders the movers to unload truck
6:20 PM-6:45 PM- Movers leave the job site to buy and eat pizza.
6:45 PM- 9:05 PM Movers arrive back at job site and unload truck.

Total authorized time spent engaged in the moving process was 8 hours. It is reasonable to assume that we should not be charged, nor should we pay for excessive time in which the movers were not engaged in the moving process.
