We have completed the coding of the website except for some final changes that were to be done when Mr. [redacted] setup his MLS account and gave us the money and approval to host the...

At this point, we can give Mr. [redacted] the coding for the website. In short, we feel Mr. [redacted] had a personal problem with his friend and our Marketing Associated Brett B[redacted] and that caused him to demand we refund his money.  I’ve attached 4 documents to support our version of what occurred. The Vincent [redacted] Project document is a string of emails between Moving Targets and Mr. [redacted]. The Long and Foster SS is our Service Schedule that outlines what we were contracted to do. The Signed Payment Page is a copy of the signed SS Mr. [redacted] sent back to us. The Vince Hosting MLS document is what we sent Mr. [redacted] that he never returned to us. As you can see from the emails, Mr. [redacted] seemed happy with us as late as Friday June 17 at 5:43 pm. Then on Sunday June 19 at 10:52 am he expressed his displeasure and asked for a refund. The only thing that occurred between those times was that Brett decided not to pursue buying a house from Mr. [redacted]. Below are statements from Jenna G[redacted] and Brett B[redacted] as to what they think happened. Please let me know if you need anything else from us and what it will take to resolve this matter. Best regards,Stu D[redacted]  Jenna’s reply: Vincent [redacted] signed an agreement contracting Moving Targets to build a website. Moving Targets completed the site, with the exception of a few minor text changes and the Multiple Listing Service (MLS) listing feature, which was not included in the original scope of work. We offered to bundle the monthly fee of the MLS listing service with hosting in one additional payment and he accepted. Upon Vincent's final round of changes, Moving Targets advised Vincent the requested changes would be made at the same time we added the MLS feature. He did not express this was unacceptable. On June 19, 2016 Vincent demanded a full refund and instructed Moving Targets not to complete the project – and if Moving Targets did not comply, he would go on a disparaging campaign to harm Moving Targets’ reputation.  Moving Targets team has reached out to Vincent [redacted] several times in attempts to resolve this issue, Vincent has refused all calls. Due to Vincent's threats, we pulled the site from our demo server to prevent theft. The site is complete with the exception of the MLS feature which Vincent has refused to pay for.  Brett’s reply:   My relationship originally started with Vincent [redacted] back in my late teenage years as a fellow student.  Originally Vince approached me on Facebook about meeting with him to discuss real estate.  He quickly became my agent and had showed me a number of homes.  He then inquired about our company building him a website.   I discussed with the team about a price and we came up with $2,000 as the price we were going to charge him.  When I gave the contract to Vince he said can we make a payment plan being as that he is low on funds.  We said absolutely, we love helping small businesses. Upon disgruntled emails directed towards Jenna, I reached out to Vince early last week to put out the fire.  Upon speaking with Vince I was told, ”I can’t deal with Jenna, she’s a fking incompetent dumb bh.”  He used other degrading and vulgar language directed at Jenna.    He continued to curse and use inappropriate language. At the end of our conversation he asked me, “what is going on with you and buying a home.  I told him that my search was off at the moment because my girlfriend and relatives thought it would be a good idea to rent for another year.  He said, ” let’s get a couple beers this Friday June 17, 2016 and come up with a plan for your real estate endeavors. “  Upon getting off the phone, still very frustrated with the way he was degrading and speaking to not only my friends/colleagues but a women, I decided not to attend the meeting about real estate being that I didn’t want to do business let alone befriend somebody who speaks that way to/about women.  Vince was mad I blew off the meeting and shortly after that emailed Jay with his complaints and inquired about a full refund.

Review: They led me to believe they were sending my advertising to only new home owners which is why I decided to advertise with them. Instead they sent a general blast of advertising to anyone in the zip code/s we discussed. When I found out what they had done I asked for a refund for that month and they declined and are now sending me to collections for that month because I wouldn't pay. I am now going to pay them to eliminate them from sending me to collections. I have no way to prove that they did this for the previous months which is why I only asked for a refund the one month. I am completely disgusted with their business practices and will never use them again.Desired Settlement: At a minimum I want the one month refunded.
