As a customer that has used this service for a few years' it saddens me to give such a low review. The reason has nothing to do with the service that the technicians have performed at my home over the years, but about the rude customer service that I received today 12 Dec 2019 at 4:50 pm. I called Moxie to end my service relationship. It was then I was shown the TRUE nature of Moxie. As I explained to the Customer service rep, due to financial reasons I could no longer afford this service. As expected the rep attempted to offer an alternate payment plan/schedule, I explained that I cannot afford this service anymore at any price. At this time the rep who didn't identify himself rudely hung up on me. All attempts to callback went unanswered and I left multiple voicemail messages for a callback which I never received. Nothing reflects the true value of a company than its employees, especially one that can't be identified. If this was done to me, it has been done to someone else. Sad

We're glad this customer enjoyed his years of service with us, and we apologize for the abrupt end to his conversation on December 12th. Our customer care manager (with whom Mr. was speaking) thought the customer had hung up mid-conversation. Thinking no one was on the line anymore, our manager hung up also. As we explained in a follow-up phone conversation, this was unintentional and we apologize.

No the customer care manager's actions were intentional. He never identified himself as the customer care manager or provided any name whatsoever, we were talking to each other prior to him hanging up the phone. The conversation went like this I said " At this time all I want to do is cancel my service, and there's nothing you can say to change that at this time. His response was 'OK its nothing I can do to change this "and he then hung up the phone. There was no follow-up, I was not sure of the status of my account If he believed I had dropped the call in error, he had my number to follow up and confirm that my service had been closed I called back twice leaving voice mails explaining that I had been hung up on and requested confirmation of my account being closed. Once he was made aware of my complaint, (The following Monday after my last follow up call. I started to receive text messages from him wanting to explain himself. This is a precautionary tale of doing business with this company, as long as your a paying customer they are professional but the minute you attempt to close your account it becomes personal.

This business has not been delivering on the service that I paid for. I recently asked them to cancel my account and they have yet to respond.
I have been very dissatisfied with the service that I paid for with this business. The recent scheduled service visit they were supposed to do didn't happen so I finally had enough and asked them to cancel my account. They have NOT responded to my request. I have sent the request via email (2 times), and text message (they initiated the text message conversation). I just checked my account online and it's still showing as active. They have always said that the customer can cancel their account at anytime so they should honor this!

Desired Outcome

The resolution I am seeking are: 1) The business to respond to my repeated requests to cancel my account. 2) The business to cancel my account.

please accept our apologies for not communicating properly. While we closed your account as requested, we did not contact you afterwards to let you know. That should have happened and is our mistake. Should you need it, the customer portal will still let you access the historical data for your account regarding treatments and payments even though the account has been closed.

I have read the business's response dated 27-Feb-2019.

I've used Moxie now for 7 years at 3 separate locations, and have had an excellent experience with them. Any issues I've had have been dealt with in a prompt manner, and billing questions have been the same. They recently started treatments for wood-boring insects and I have signed up for that as well. I highly recommend them to anyone who wants to keep their pests under control.

I was quoted one thing and billed for another. I was quoted $119 for my initial spray, with another spray within 30 days, which would be no charge. I wouldn't receive another bill until my quarterly treatments started at the 3 month mark and every 3 months after that. I received another spray at 3 weeks, which was outside only, and was charged another $119. I was told it was in my contract and that there was nothing they could do. Company is quoting 1 thing and billing for anther.

incorrect billing practice as well as service issue
have been a Moxie customer for approx 6 years-they know that they have to set up an appt for me as my house is locked as well as my yard.SO I need unlock for their service. On 11/17/17 their technician out to treat,so they say. I wasn't here,But according to them they treated my front yard out 30'-that's never happened and if they went out 30' they'd be treating the steep incline in front of my house-hence not ever treating the front yard,and my side yards-well that's my neighbors,left me a door note-NOPE and an email-NOPE stating they were here. Saturday 3/10/18 I received a bill,4 months later, for this service. I'm not sure why I'm being billed for service that I don't even know if they did show up and if they did they didn't do what they are supposed to do -the entire yard and house. I did speak with *** this am as well as supervisor ***-both with no luck. In my file it states make an appt because the yard is locked,they are aware of this. A company can just come to your house and claim they treated it and then bill you? This is not the 1st time this has happened but I've not ever been billed 4 months later. Might you please help me and get this rectified as they are unwilling to budge-didn't even offer a follow up visit to make the bill worthwhile.Now it's to late I don't want them near my property! thank you-

treated my front porch area today for carpenter bees. He was very informative about the treatment process and what to expect from this treatment as well. I appreciate this information as well as his very polite and friendly manner!
