Review: Back in the middle of June I order a Birthday Cake at this Bakery because I was told it was good there. And I order a 11" cake to feed 30-35 people. My cake was a White cake with ONLY Strawberry and Whip Cream, and said Happy Birthday August Babies on it. I paid for the cake in the middle of July with my [redacted]Card which the total came to $55.00. August 15 was the day of our party and I pick up the cake around 5:30 p.m. I had to be at the party for 6:00 p.m. at the [redacted] in Southington CT. When I got to the Bakery the woman that works their told me she can't find my cake. When I call them around 4:30 that day told them I am on my way to pick it up, they told me it's fine we still have it here. Someone that works there in the A.M. Shift gave the wrong cake out to someone else. The woman that works their she told me that someone pick up your cake and I said I don't think so. And so I call my people to ask them and they told me NO they gave out your cake to someone else. The woman told me that I can have one made FRESH for you now it will take about 35 min to have it done. I told her I have to be at the party for 6:00 p.m. And she told me that I will ask the owner if he will bring the cake to you then. She came back out and said NO HE WONT. So she call the guy that got my cake and he brought the cake back to the store. The cake was not touch by him and it was still in the box. But on the side of the box the cake had some of the whip cream all over the box. So that means when he pick it up they must have rub it. I should had not taking the cake at all after the cake leaves the place you don't know what the other people can do to it. When I talk to the owner today and told him that I was not happy about this at all. He told me that I have talk to all of my people here and told them that they have to be CAREFUL on all orders. And I told him that you should have brought the cake to me at the party because you made me LATE. He told me that we don't do that at all and I told him that is bad business on you. So he is sending me a 10% Coupon in the mail to make me happy. BUT THAT IS NOT WANT I WANT AT ALL I THINK I SHOULD GET MY MONEY BACK ON THE WHOLE ORDER BECAUSE OF THIS. What can you do for me about this. Because I will NEVER GO BACK THERE AGAIN FOR MY BUSINESS AT ALL I WILL TAKE MY BUSINESS SOME WHERE ELSE....................................Desired Settlement: I FEEL THAT THEY SHOULD REFUND ME THE WHOLE $55.00 THAT I PAID FOR THIS. SINCE THIS IS THERE FAULT ON THIS. AND THAT THEY MADE ME WAIT ABOUT 15 MIN. TO THE OTHER GUY CAME BACK WITH THE CAKE. A 10% OFF FOR NEXT ORDER DOES NOT DO ME ANY THING AT ALL BECAUSE I WONT GO BACK THERE ANY MORE.
