MPH Auto Detailing

Review: Going to try my best to describe this nightmare in the space provided. Today is 1/30/14. I brought my 2001 [redacted] to this shop on 11/8/13. When my car broke down my regular mechanic diagnosed a bad slave cylinder but the cost of repair was higher than I was willing to pay and we met this mechanic by chance as we shopped for a new car. He said he could fix it for the half the price my regular mechanic could so I decided to take a chance. Once the transmission was taken apart I was told I needed a clutch as well which I paid for. On 11/20/13 I was told my car was done but when I went to pick it up it was running very unevenly. I agreed to have the aftermarket cold air intake taken off my car and replaced with a stock part. I picked my car up again on 11/21/13 and began a trip of 120 mi each way. On the way down my car made a horrible noise and shook I had to brake hard and my car spun 180 degrees in the middle of rt ** in [redacted]. It turns out they did not put my wheel back on all the way. It was only held on with 2 lugnuts which could be easily spun off with bare hands. I had my spare tire put on as my wheel was irreparably damaged. On the drive home my clutch slipped horribly. I returned it to MPH so they could repair their damage. In addition to the slave cylinder and clutch they then replaced the pressure plate and master cylinder. But still the car was not ready. Then he told me my car had the wrong transmission. I purchased another transmission for the car. This was prepaid. Once that was done I was told I could not have my car back because it was parked in by another car that was painted and needed to dry. I waited days for that. Then I was told my car would no longer start and needed a new starter. Another mechanic at the shop admitted that my starter was likely ruined there. Now I have been waiting over a week and being told that they have to get caught up on other jobs first they'll get to my car when they get to it.Desired Settlement: I would like my car given back to me repaired as I have paid for quickly. If the shop is unable to repair my car I would like repairs paid for at another shop.
