Everything was resolved after the meeting. A lot was covered in the meeting.

Initial Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2016/09/14) */
Since this is public record, let me preface this by saying that [redacted] was a great client that we enjoyed interacting with. This is why this situation does sadden us. Let's start with the facts: [redacted] entered into a lease contract and...

Option to Purchase contract with our company on July 31, 2014. After participating in our Homeownership Program, he qualified for a mortgage in December 2014 and officially purchased the home from us in January 2015. The one benefit of a lease to own is that you have the ability to live in the home before you officially purchase it. This is an advantage most buyers do not have the opportunity to do. However, with this advantage our clients are able to test the home and get comfortable with a home before they purchase it. Since we consider Tenant-Buyers our partners we need them to be happy before they purchase the home. There are times that repairs are needed as dictated by the Tenant-Buyer or the appraiser who appraises the home and we always comply because without agreement there can be a delay in closing.
The things that [redacted] is stating that we did or that the contractor is saying that we did is not right. FHA Appraisers are very strict in their appraisals for the homes. There have been many cases where the appraiser has gone to the lender and stated things that needed to be inspected or repaired before moving on and we always comply. In fact, there were a few items in terms of peeling paint and other miscellaneous things that the appraiser required us to repair. Once repaired the appraiser was called back out and the appraisal was approved.
A few weeks ago, [redacted] contacted Revdex.com and stated the same things that he has referenced in his complaint. We have corresponded with him and even though it is September 2016 more than a year and a half after he purchased the home and over two years since he first moved into the home we were considering helping him since he was a very solid client. However, this approach trying to blame us for something nearly two years after the fact is a bit disturbing and certainly has left a bad taste in my mouth.
[redacted] has been kind enough to refer people to us because he knows that we are excellent at converting renters with damaged credit and financial profiles into responsible homeowners. However, I do appreciate this approach. Out of respect to the Revdex.com and the general public, I am responding to this complaint.
We have sold over 175 homes in the Piedmont-Triad, NC region over the years and this is the first time that someone has made this type of complaint more than 2 years after they moved into the home. It just doesn't seem right.
We know that we have no obligation to pay for anything. However, we don't believe that emotion should ever dictate decisions so we will try to look at the situation and see if we can remedy it. Thank you.

I certainly have a busy schedule but this is the first notice from Mr. [redacted] that I have received. Mr. [redacted] and his wife were referred to me by former clients who completed our program and were able to purchase a home as a result of our services so it is obviously disappointing that they...

have made a complaint to you without contacting me directly. They say that they have tried calling but I have not received any messages from them. Due to the number of appointments that I have and home viewings that I conduct, my voicemail and our website clearly directs clients to schedule a face to face consultation or phone consultation at a time that is convenient for them. We have done this over the past 9 months so that clients and potential prospects can automatically schedule appointments (either in person or via phone) with us at times that are convenient to them. No such effort was done. Our counseling requires clients to be proactive and so far this year we have helped over 45 individuals qualify for homes so we don't feel that we have to apologize for what we do for clients. We always have an open door policy. While our fees are non-refundable and the contracts states this, I do not take anything personally and would welcome Mr. and Mrs. [redacted] to meet with me personally. An appointment can be made by visiting [redacted]. Given the number of phone calls and emails and appointments that we receive daily from clients it is disappointing to get this notice. However, we are willing to discuss this with the clients directly. Thank you.

I am rejecting this response because: What is said is not the truth because me and my wife have reached out to him. And I even was working on one of his properties with the gentleman that referred me and he walked right passed me. I’m tired of these companies taking advantage of people like me hardworking and them trying to get out of it.
