Review: I was a sublessor in a building owned by this company. The company requested a $500 move-out deposit when I moved out of the building, to cover potential damages to an elevator. I supplied one check for $100 and one for $400. I was assured these would not be cashed, provided no damages were incurred to the elevator.

I completed the move, and the super inspected the elevator and found no damage. However, he refused to return my deposit check on the spot, since I still had to meet with the [redacted], remove a few remaining small personal items from the premises, and exchange keys with the [redacted]. I was unable to locate the super again after my meeting with the [redacted]. Ten days later, the check was cashed. I called the management company to find out why, and was told that it was the building's policy to cash deposit checks and refund them later. I told them this was the opposite of what they had stated initially, and voiced my displeasure. The manager then hung up on me. I am seeking a refund for my $400 check. I have issued a stop payment on the $100 check, which was apparently not cashed.Desired Settlement: Provide me with a refund check for $400.

Review: I have called & emailed this Management agency regarding several issues and NONE of them have been addressed. No one returns phone calls. The [redacted] doesn't even answer. They don't even respond to emergency phone calls. It's out of control.Desired Settlement: I want a phone call with answers to all the questions I've sent this new management via email ASAP!
