it if the information for our company was updated as the mailing address and other information listed is very outdated. Regarding the complaint: Mr. [redacted]'s lease was between him and the property owner. Our role was to maintain the property, collect rent, perform routine inspections and pass all this information on to the owner. As Mr. [redacted] stated in the complaint we performed these duties on a regular basis and any issues that needed immediate attention were handled. Upon move out we performed a final inspection with the property owner. The owner had knowledge, pictures, and a move in checklist provided by Mr. [redacted] to compare the before and after condition of the property. Given this information the owner determined what portion of the security deposit would be withheld. We, the management company, have no control over what that amount is. We spoke with Mr. [redacted] on several occasion after the owner made his determination and explained this fact. The property owner and we, the management company, both feel that Mr. [redacted] was an excellent tenant. There was no deceptive practice on our behalf as we had no idea what, if any, funds would be withheld from his deposit until we got the final word from the property owner and then we informed Mr. [redacted] immediately and refunded him the remainder of his deposit. We also helped to explain to Mr. [redacted] on several occasions that his lease was between him and the owner and that we had no control over the final decision that was made regarding the deposit. In addition we provided Mr. [redacted] a full color inspection report and copies of receipts for any work that was done as well. While we understand his disappointment in not receiving his security deposit back in it's entirety his complaint is not with us it is with the owner of the property.
