After paying Mqx quilt festival for a weeks worth of classes, the event was canceled due to covid19. They two ladies that run it are now refusing to return the money for the classes. That is over 1,200.00 loss on money.

MQX Quilt Festivals has been running a quilting convention in New Hampshire for 20 years. We are the largest convention held at the Center of NH in Manchester.
We were mandated to cancel the show because of the virus.
When Students and Vendors sign up for classes they sign a waiver of liability that absolves the show from any refunds. However, we have integrity and have rolled over ALL funds for the 2021 show. She didn't mention that, did she?
We will provide the class schedule to these registered students from 2020 BEFORE we release it to the public and allow them to sign up. If the student chooses not to sign up, then the matter is closed.
We have a contract for the 2021 show and you may contact the DoubleTree / Center of NH in Manchester for verification. MQX is not going anywhere.

I am requesting a full refund due to the fact that I am unable to attend next years show. Also, the cancelation policy they have is if 'I' cancel. I did not cancel. They did. So I am requesting a full refund. Not to mention these people have also kept the vendors money and are making money off of MQX products made for the canceled show. I view this as unfair and borderline inappropriate. Covid19 has affected many businesses and vendors and they are keeping the money that would assist many people to get thru the next couple of months. Due to covid19, my family needs the funds refunded.

The legal waiver was signed by her on November 1st at 12:03 pm. MQX Quilt Festivals owes nothing as it is clearly spelled out in the Liability Waiver.
Again, we are rolling funds over to the 2021 show and will give the schedule to ALL 2020 registered students before it is released to the public in early to mid-October.... she will have until October 31st at 11:59 pm to select whatever classes she wants.
