When the order was placed by my company, the part was backorderedMrAppliance is pleased the customer was able to obtain the part when he placed his orderNevertheless the refund was placed in the mail July 31, and if the consumer will allow the mail to run 3-more days he should receive his refund.

Mrs*** has discussed this with ***. From what I understand, she was made aware the part was on back order
Evidently she called in another company and was told the same thing
We don’t manufacture the parts and can’t be responsible for the delay in parts
James can give you more accurate details than myself
Thanks for listening

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below
MrAppliance refunded $of the $I paidTheir answer is that the remaining fee was for diagnostic workThe repairman did nothing except write the model number down on my machine, I was personally present the entire timeI actually asked the repairman to check out the rest of the machine to make sure the everything else was okay since he was out here and he said it was not necessary. Is that really worth $80. MrAppliance said the refund was sent on 7/31/Based on the check and envelope this is not true either, it was sent on 8/3/This vendor is dishonest, plane and simple stay awayIt is really not about the money, they did not provide the service they said they wouldWe have had to chase them down to get any answer. We got no real response until we went to the Revdex.com. Mistakes happen and how a company reacts to them is what defines the type of company they are. Their answer continues to be to put the blame on my wife and I.

On 6/24/15 Mr. Appliance 12200 Shelbyville Rd Louisville KY 40014 came to repair a broken ice lever on my Samsung refrigerator. The technician did no diagnostic work, but simply wrote the model number. He told me they would have to order the part and they would be back in 3 to 5 days. They quoted me $212.30 to do the repair and I paid $120 down at the time. After 2 weeks of hearing nothing we began to call and send emails. It took another 5 days to get contacted and then they came out with the wrong part. After another week of hearing nothing we were told the part was on back order. My wife went online that day found the part and it was delivered to us the next day. Many more calls and emails with no response. Finally the owner returned my call and told me he would return my money. Never heard back so I went through the Revdex.com. Through all of this I got $40 of my money back. His response was that we were impatient as the part was on back order. The remaining $80 was kept for diagnostic fee, which was not done. I know I was standing there the whole time. I specifically asked to check the refrigerator while he was at my house to make sure there were no other issues. He said it was not necessary. Blaming the customer is not the way to resolve a problem.

We called this company to repair a dishwasher at our office. They showed up and diagnosed the problem and said they'd need to order a part. We paid for the service run and a portion of the part - $150. They said there were 40 control panels available online and they'd be back the following day. The next day they called and said the part was backordered and it would take a week to get it. Never heard from them again!! We called and left messages, sent emails and made contact through their website. No response in the past month. What a ripoff.

On Friday, 10/10/14, our refrigerator started making a loud grinding noise. After a quick Internet search, we called Mr. Appliance and talked to a man named Gene. I was told that no one could get here till Monday, 10/13/14, between 9AM and 12:30PM. I made the appointment, cancelling another appointment I had for Monday morning. At 1PM Monday, when no one showed up or called, I again called and talked to Gene; he said he would find out what happened and someone would call me back. Neither he nor anyone else ever called. This some of the worst customer service I have ever dealt with.

#000000; font-style: normal; background-color: transparent;">Also, if nothing was wrong with the machine then why did they call us out? It would have still filled with hot water even if cold water supply was shut off.

This is ludicrous and loaded with lies and I feel like I should be reimbursed for my wasted time replying to this. When I got to the home the machine would not fill with water. I took hoses off of back of machine and there was no cold water going to machine. The customer stated that she just had a friend do some plumbing work to run a water line to her fridge I think. She stated that she would have him come look at that. Upon further diagnosis I found that the water inlet valve was bad and wasn't letting hot water into machine. I gave customer a quote and she declined. The next part is a blatant lie! I reassembled the machine while the customer watched me. The only thing I left unhooked was the cold water line because the customer told me too so her plumber would know which line was defective. Yes I did mention that I sell used appliances in general conversation, but nothing like wat is stated in the complaint. I even went above and beyond and told the customer where she could buy the part and explained in detail how to do the repair herself. She had stated in our conversation that she was "handy" with stuff and she thought she could fix it. So if the machine was taken apart I'm inclined to believe that she attempted the repair herself and got in over her head. On top of all of this, she did not pay the bill that day due to splitting up payment on two separate cards. She also stated that 2 families lived there so I have to ask, who made this complaint? The lady that watched every single thing that I did while there, or someone else that got second hand information!
This is all I have to say about this issue. Like I said, this is absolutely ridiculous and I refuse to waste my time responding to any further complaints.
Sincerely;

Came to access then repair my washer. Ran a test asked for payment. Said computer was down and could not give me description of what is wrong or what needs to be fixed. Said he would have it to me after computer starts working again. After a week, I contacted his office via phone, email, and text several times. Never heard a response. I feel that this is fraud. I was not given what was promised. Waste of my time and money. Poor customer care. Would never use the company again. Total rip off.
