I made an appointment with this business for someone to arrive at my home on June * between noon and pm to diagnose and repair an ice makerAccording to their advertising, they respect the individual consumer and would contact me if the technician was unable to make the appointmentThis was not doneWhen I contacted their main office, I was told "there was some misunderstanding." I was assured that a technician would arrive between noon and pm on June *At 5:15pm I telephoned their main office and was assured I was still on the scheduleAt 7:PM I telephoned again, still waiting for someone to either contact me or arriveI spoke with a manager named "Mark" who contacted the technicianHe said he'd arrived at my home at 10:am (outside the window), received no answer when he rang the doorbell and left a message on my voice mail before leavingThere was no message from a technician from MrAppliance on my voice mailI was offered the opportunity to reschedule or wait an unknown period of time until this technician would return to my homeI declinedThere must be another business out there more reliable and more truthful

customer could not agree on a rescheduling date do to part being on back order ,tried explaining the situation to patricia but could not come to an agreement , we then refunded $

Review: Called Mr. Appliance on 9/** to have a front-loader washing machine repaired in my home. Service repairman came out within 30 mins, told part needed to be ordered and would be in by Thurs, 9/**. Appointment was made for the repair to be done on Fri, 9/** between 9am-12pm ET. Had to give the repairman a $100 deposit towards the part. On Fri, 9/**, no one showed up. My wife, [redacted], called Mr. Repair several times to find out the status, asked to speak to the manager/owner, Mark, who then told her we were never in the log for a repair on 9/** and the earliest appointment they could give us would be sometime during the week of 9/**. When my wife told Mark that was unacceptable as she took the day off for the repair (which WAS confirmed by their customer service department member, Kathy), Mark cursed at my wife and hung up on her. I called him back, cancelled the job and he told me he would refund my $100. It has been two weeks and I have not received a refund. Called him today and he said he would "look into it". Unacceptable.
