Dear [redacted]:I am in receipt of your correspondence dated Tuesday, August. 5,2014, referencing the complaint submitted to you from **. [redacted] on June 26, 2014, at 1:04:59 PM and assigned an ID of [redacted]. It is noted that [redacted] is rejecting my response to her correspondent as incorrect and sent documentation to substantiate her objection. This letter is to acknowledge the customer additional concerns and to address the question as to why these concerns were not mentioned in the previous letter until my response to her complaint was addressed. It would seem important that all accounts of not being satisfied would be addressed initially as oppose to going backward and forward in this matter.I will continue to indicate that because of [redacted]’s aggressive behavior and constant, bring other persons in to ascertain whether or not my work was being done properly was creating an atmosphere that was very uncomfortable to perform my job.[redacted] indicated that in her “opinion” my statements are totally false. This is not an “opinion" matter it is a fact-based matter which resulted in the performance of my work being attacked. I believe she mentioned that I was “the only contractor that she approached to perform the job because of past experiences with me”. She also indicated that although the work was not “outstanding” but “adequate” and conformed to our contracts. It would appear that she would be hesitant about hiring me to do “adequate” work and not “outstanding”. Doesn’t make sense!Actions that can and can’t be taken to resolve concerns are (1) the paint that was purchased was more costly than the $100 for materials and (2) the outer frame to the door was to be fixed, not the entire door replaced. Funds to do this was not given, therefore, if it had had been, then to rebuild the frame properly would have been no problem. [redacted] was trying to get work done for nothing. All work done by my company and any additional work was approved by **. [redacted]. No work was attempted or done without getting approval to do so. The contract was remodified because when [redacted] knew that the $100 payment for materials would not be enough to do the work, she fell that her monthly service she was paying [redacted] should should pay to have the work done, therefore, [redacted] Plumbing was called. When the job was stopped, [redacted] was notified that her keys were placed in her mail box.Sincerely,Garcia S[redacted]

Review: The vendor was paid half of the contract amount plus the cost for materials on June 20 to begin the work at my residence. However he breached the contract on June 23 and refused to finish the work. He was rude, aggressive, and curt, even hanging up the phone while I was still talking with him.Desired Settlement: I would like to have one half of the deposit that I paid him.

All work was completed with the exception of building frame around basement door to reinforce so it will shut. See notification to [redacted] and [redacted] regarding this one item in my June 23 letter. There was a $100 deposit included in the cost for materials in order to begin the work requested. Therefore, before [redacted] receives any money back I should be paid the remaining balance of $500 for workRegards,Mr. Garcia S[redacted]
