Was forced to pay $200 to have my vehicle released without being told beforehand that there would be any charges.
I want to start by saying up until this point when this was just Mr. Collision my experience with Aldo the owner and the company as a whole was GREAT! After my most recent experience I WILL NEVER TAKE MY VEHICLES TO THIS PLACE OR MY FAMILY OR FRIENDS TO THIS PLACE! I was misled from the beginning and after they realized that I realized the estimated they gave me was ridiculous as one of the other reviews stated happened to them and after I decided to go elsewhere they wanted to extort money out of me. I am very disappointed in the owner Aldo and they way he spoke to me after sending business to him over the years! I will definitely be writing a letter to the Revdex.com as well.
I would like my $200 refunded

I apologize for the misunderstanding and regret that you were under the impression that your vehicle would be towed (at your request) back to the shop and stored free of charge. It was never Mister Collision's intention to make you feel misled. You were charged $150 for tow and $50 (one hour of body labor) for disassembly so that your preliminary estimate could be prepared as you requested.
Moreover, we stand by the "preliminary estimate" that was written. It was fair and reasonable, not ridiculous. You own a "high end vehicle" and as you are aware the damage was extensive.
Again, I apologize for any misunderstanding.

Again I was misled. I was only charged because it was thought that I was taking my car to another shop. Pricing for anything was never discussed unless repairs were to be done. The first conversation was for me to pay for them to pick my car up from the wreck yard never any invoices or fees on their end. This is completely wrong and unethical!

Mr. Collision apologizes for the fact that an invoice was not sent to you. A copy of the tow invoice will be sent to you via US mail today, 5/24/19. You will notice that you were only charged the cost of the tow. There is no mark up.
Contrary to your statement, you were not charged a tow and disassembly fee because Mr. Collision thought you were taking your vehicle to another shop. You were charged because a service was rendered and it is customary for fees to apply.
Again, we maintain that the $200.00 charge ($150.00 tow from Frisco, Tx to Farmers Branch, TX and $50.00 for 1.0 hr disassembly) is fair and reasonable.

Completely unacceptable. Again previous to anything being done there were no discussions regarding cost being given for any services. There was nothing signed stating that there would be charges for any services other than repairs on the vehicle if they were done. Permy conversations this was a matter of me not getting my repairs done at your shop. Not one bill not one charges was discussed until the car was being picked up by what you assumed was another shop and them you mentioned these unfair charges. You told me to pick the care up and when funds were available you would pick the car up from my house. You are not being honest and forthright. My $200 should be refunded period you and I both know this.
