On Friday July 17, [redacted] 's brought in their Ford [redacted] for a full detail The vehicle was detailed and Mrs [redacted] came into pay and was stating how nice the truck looked and that she is behind on getting it detailed for the year as she has had them done here in the past She paid with a ***She went to her truck and came in stating there was a scratch on driver door I told her that the two guys detailed was out on delivery for us to talk to themI tried contacting them on cell phone they didn't have service till they was in [redacted] **She then had called her husband and he came looked at truck came in and ask what we was going to do about scratch, I told him I would like to look at it as I went out the clear coat is going around scratch above driver door handle and I stated nothing we have could've done thatClear coat missing 3-1/inch from scratchI took pictures w/my cell phone I talked to the two guys on the phone they said that the spot was there before they started they did not do itI told Mr [redacted] that I believe my guys wer have been in business for years and never a issue but I would run by the owner and he could call on Monday to get his response, and owner said he had never had a issue and knew we didn't do anything to truck they would have to take us to court because he is that confidentMr [redacted] then wanted the detail for free because he said we had missed a bug on front grill and I did not give any discountI feel the damage was done to vehicle prior to detailing because Mr [redacted] said it had been in Ford shop before coming hereWe take pride in our work and know nothing was done while it was in our possession.Thanks, [redacted] , District Manager
