Mr. Fix It Handyman Services

Back on September 29th we hired Robert lubofsky handyman services to do several projects at our house. Including painting my windows outside, fixing my front door, finishing off 2 porches that we had started a couple years ago and painting the inside of our house. Since that date he has been out to my house twice and sent a couple kids over one day to do some paint scrapping outside and one other day to pull off wallpaper and paneling. I have tried countless time to communicate with him via text, phone call, and Facebook with no success. And if he did answer it was hours and hours later or maybe the next day. Every time I was able to make contact it was some story that his wife was sick, rental car was broken or he would just promise me he would be out another day. My house is in complete shambles. My walls are a mess, old pieces of wallpaper everywhere. My front door was left barely hanging and without tying it down it would just blow open. We spent $200 on a locksmith to fixt the door so it would close and lock. My wife and I are forced to live in our bedroom and my son in his Because I had to move everything out of the rooms he said he was going to do. We have done some research and have found out he has scammed several other people and 1 even has an unpaid judgement against him. He has a $4000 deposit of ours. I pray this does not happen to anyone else. Anyone who reads this please please share this!!

On Aug. 31st, *** came out to install our dishwasher for $200. He began the work but left for a part and to pay one of his workers. He returned 2 hours later and said he couldn't finish because he did not have the brackets that were supposed to be supplied. (Although I found the empty hardware bag the next day. My suspicion is they were included and he took them. But I cannot be sure.) Water started pouring out from under our sink the next day. I texted him and asked him to return. He replied 10 hours later that he'd be back first thing in the morning. He never showed up. I texted him again on Sept. 3rd and asked for a partial refund of $100 since some of the work was not done to completion or satisfaction. He offered to return, but I declined since he had already "no-showed" the day before. At this point, I asked that he just give a partial refund. At this point, I do not trust him and really just want my money back. He never responded and I have not received any money back.
