Review: To whom it may concern:I am writing this letter to inform you that a purchase was made with an associate of yours which does business under the name of Mr. Furniture Corp located at [redacted], formerly named Bay Area Furniture Outlet .The business owners name is Mr. George H[redacted] My concern is that I applied for a loan of credit in the amount of $1500.00 which was approved and processed on 2/5/15. The purchase was for a leather sectional sofa set with an ottoman ($900), 2 night stand lamps ($100) and w[redacted] unit ($500).However after waiting for 2 months, my w[redacted] unit was delivered but nothing else and was not asked to sign off on any proof of delivery.I was instructed by Mr. H[redacted] that I was not to make any payments to your company until all of the furniture was delivered.After several failed attempts to contact Mr. H[redacted] to inquire about the rest of my furniture, I was left with no choice but to file a complaint with the police department in Rahway, NJ. The police were able to make contact with him where Mr. H[redacted] confirmed that a refund would be issued to me immediately for the remaining balance of the order. As of this day I only have received a total of $700 in a post dated check which I cannot deposit at this time. When I went online to view the lease agreement, there were several discrepancies with the figures and items originally ordered.This unfortunate incident has made me decide not to pursue the rest of this order (sofa sectional set/ottoman, 2 lamps) or do business with your associate.After careful consideration, I would like to remain to do business with your company and keep the wall unit. The original lease would have to be adjusted to reflect the correct item along with the correct amount of the purchase price of the wall unit which was $500.I can be reached at: [redacted].Respectfully[redacted]Desired Settlement: $700 in a post dated check which I cannot deposit at this time (check Bounced on June 5th). I would like a full refund in Cash - no check.
