On June ***, 2017, *** *** ordered eyeglasses for her daughter *** ***She ordered specialty lenses through her insurance provider (EYEMED VISION CARE) that usually can take 7-business daysThe claim for her order was submitted on 6/**/We received a call from her
insurance lab on July *** that her lenses were on back order due to the type of lenses she ordered (Transition Brown)As a courtesy to this patient,we provided her with a free pair of lenses to use in the interim until her specialty lenses were availablePatient is wearing our lenses that we provided to her at no cost along with the frame she purchasedHer lenses arrived on 7/**/and the patient was called several times to return the lenses we provided her with and to have the new specialty lenses cut into her existing frameWe have yet to hear from the patient's mother, *** ***Our store policy that *** *** has in her possession s imply states " No refunds store credit onlyEye wear provided by your insurance abide by their policies and warranties and may differ from ours." Being a third-party provider with her insurance, we are not held responsible for the delay of her lenses which is why we offered her the free lenses as a courtesy to our patientWe hope MrsRivera-Kane would understand our efforts on making sure her daughter receives quality work along with superior customer serviceWe sincerely apologize for any inconvenience and disappointments this may have caused.
