My 30+ year old house had numerous problems with the original gutters, including rotten wood behind the gutters I called Dennis who immediately came over for an inspection and estimate When I contacted him, I thought they only did gutters, but I learned they do all manner of exterior home repairs and painting I had windows that leaked and wooden trim that was rotten or had been chewed on by squirrels
The crew he sent to my house, Jared and Mark, were very professional, courteous and hard working, but above all they really knew what they were doing These guys never cut any corners! They used far more lumber than the had estimated, and used tubes of caulk To my surprise, they came into my screened in back porch and painted the ceiling , floor and framework I didn't realize that was part of the dealNow the outside of the house looks brand new
My original plan was to save and reuse the old gutters and downspouts, but once they were removed, it looked like not such a good idea Dennis and I discussed it, and I chose to use all new materials Other than the cost of the new gutters and downspouts (my decision) he stuck with the original estimate Great job MrGutter

Due to inadequate services, MrGutter promised me a refund for the job they did at my houseThis amount was agreed to March,
I hired MrGutter to clean my guttersThe job was completely botched in three areasThe estimator charged me for a 35' ladder on my jobThe extra tall ladder was not needed to complete the service per the technicians
The manager/owner never called me on the day of my scheduled serviceI had to call him multiple times to eventually find out they wouldn't be making it that dayThey ended up coming out the next day

3/26/was to install ftseamless gutter, workers cut it ftto shortCalled Mr*** and told him if he promised it wouldn't leak then ok and he told me if it did he would replace itIt has started leaking and flooding my neighbors yardI have called him many times starting July 7, Always has excuses, he is doing payroll and will be here, when he doesn't show up he says he had been in Detroit etcexcuses after excuses I have a record of times I have called him but there are more timesHe came week before last said workers would be here last week, no show of course I am going to have to pay $to get this fixed I am a widow and he knew this and I think he thinks he can get by with treating me this way

This company is terrible We hired them last fall to replace one gutter and clean the othersThey did not show up on the appointed day, did not call to reschedule etc When we called them they claimed some schedule miscommunication with the workers Finally got them out to get the work done and it seemed to be okay Over the winter we noticed the gutters were running over in places and this spring got on the roof to check it out The gutter they replaced was holding water ienot hung at the correct angle Called and the owner said he would send someone out the next day to do warranty workOkay fine No one showed up the next day, no phone callNothingI called back to see what happened, the guy said he had sent a text about rescheduling We did not get any such text and had taken the day off work to get this fixed He swears he'll be out early the next morning Sends a text at 6:30am that he'll be over earlyShowed up at 11am Then said he could not fix the gutter/did not know how Ended up rehanging the gutter ourselves Waste of time and moneyTerrible communicationTerrible company

While Mr Gutter is a franchise and I'm normally highly suspicious of franchises, the man who owns the business is a local guy Dennis, who has lived in Huntsville since his youth. Nevertheless. The copper gutter on the front of my house fell off in this winter's snowstorms After several fruitless phone calls and internet searches I learned that almost no one installs or repairs copper gutters in Huntsville. Mr Gutter is virtually the only option.. Fortunately, it is a good option Dennis did great work, was courteous, and went above and beyond to make sure that the repaired copper gutters were more stable and more correctly installed than the original. We have absolutely no complaints and would recommend Mr. Gutter of Huntsville to anyone for his or her gutter needs
