I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this does not resolve my complaintPertaining to his claim of an unsafe work environment, he is presently doing the exact same jobs in the immediate neighborhood, and his statement of the backlog: he informed me personally at my front door, that I would be his next jobThat was approximately one month ago He informed me I could cancel the contract now and hire some else, accept no one is available until next yearHis statement in regards to the dilapidated roof was due to owner neglect and lack of preventative maintenance is incorrect as this was caused by wind damage from a stormI don't know what preventative maintenance I could have performed regarding the roofing shingles and such Regards, [redacted]

In response to your letter written on Dec Mr *** contacted us back in September to do a complete tearoff and reroof of his home which at the time was delapatated due to homeowner neglict and lack of preventative maintenanceUpon meeting Mr *** and discussing his specific job
requirements he was made aware of company backlog due to a summer of uncommonly rainy weather and and unsually amount of snow and freezing rain even for BuffaloWe agrreed to write a contract due to Mr *** concerns with his insurance companyMr *** was repeatedly old his job would be completed when we accomplished pending jobs, unforutnately Mr *** job requires a minimumof 4-days to completeThe weather since August has prevented us from completing and starting exterior jobs especially of his magnitudeThe safety of our employees is held to the highest standardsIt is unsafe even with modern fall arest harnesses and safety equipment to be on a snow covered roof or an icy roomFurthermore the integrity of the interior of his home would be compromised upon opening his roof causing liability to usMr *** was told if he could find somebody else to due the work please do soHe was made fully aware of our company backlog and our initial meeting on Sept our company would be happy to terminate said contract with Mr *** at this time as we can not provid a service due to verry inclimate weather due to injury liability and damage to his interior of his home due to snow

Consumer called to state additional problems have been found: We now know that the bathroom backer board needs to be removed and installed correctly and the plumbing needs to be corrected for the sinks and the shower. The sink drain is not sloped properly and the shower plumbing is loose and
not secured properly

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.
I reject the response MrHandy’s Home ServiceIf his response was truthful, why did it take him months since the date of our initial Revdex.com complaint to respond? Would a licensed electrical contractor really give approval of cutting lines to other rooms and leaving the other rooms without power? We had also started a complaint with Home Advisor several weeks before we submitted our complaint with the Revdex.comAt the point that we started the complaint process with Home Advisor we were willing to work towards a more acceptable quality of workAfter more than two weeks working with home advisor and still no improvement in work quality (with the exception that some of the duct tape was removed from the electrical work, but not all of it) was the point where we decided we need to protect our house from additional damageSince the time of our original home advisor complaint we have found additional problems outside of our bathroom that were caused by the work of MrHandy’s Home Service crewThe unprofessional approach that this company has taken is very disheartening.
