I am rejecting this response because: This guy is lying thru his teeth.  First of all - they did not come out after hours, I had a friend board up the windows, they came the next morning.  second, the bird bath was thrown thru my front door, not the kitchen window. I can supply police report to this as they were here.  And I did not ask the worker to come back after he placed the boards up, he came on his own, I was happy just to have boards covering them.  I did not scratch the window, that is why I was so upset with the billing, he was never here until their was a complaint, and came to my house after dark and with attitude from the beginning that I had done this damage.  The only this I used on the window was windex and a paper towel, he just did not want to repair the glass.  I had told him to mail me a corrected bill, since he was not going to repair the glass, which he did not.  I have had 7 different contractors in the last 2 years doing work for me and I never had an issue until I contacted this company. I feel like I was greatly overcharged and never have been so insulted in my own house with him saying I did this damage.  He has no integrity, I asked for a mailed corrected billing which I did not receive, that is when I contacted the Better Business.  Regards,

I don't understand what a corrected copy of the invoice would have been.  When we originally originally agreed on a substantial discount part of the agreement was to receive payment that day.  She asked me to leave and she would contact me with a credit card number.  I left. She did not contact us. She was non-communicative thru email or phone call.I wanted to replace the pane.  She preferred a discount.  I gave her a over 20% discount. Other than refunding more I'm open to any suggestions.

All conversations start with our services, area of service and pricing structure.  We charge time and material.My technician went to Ms [redacted]s residence 5 separate visits.  The initial visit was to secure a window that had been vandalized by break in.  Someone had thrown Ms...

[redacted]s bird bath through the kitchen window. We secured the window with plywood as an emergency repair. She called in and we were out there the same day, after hours, due to the emergency nature of the broken window.  The original window was not repairable. Ms [redacted] asked us to return the next day to seal window with plastic.Third visit was to remove and replace the window.4th visit was to replace a single pane glass in dining room window and repair window spring and measure for blinds.5th visit was to install custom blind (2 each) and screens.Visits 6 through 11 were made by me attempting to discuss payment or make contact with Ms [redacted].  I do not recall her responding to phone calls or emails.Ms [redacted] was observed by my technician while he was installing the kitchen replacement window and frame to scrub/wipe the window with something from the sink.  When I arrived at her house, by her request she could not show me a scratch due to it being dark outside and scratch was not visible.  We agreed that I would return during the day.  When I returned I did see a scratch.  The scratch was approximately 1.5 x 1 inch. A few lines going sw to nw and faint ones at 90° to those lines.  It appeared to me to be very similar to scratches that occur when we use scouring pads for non-stick cookware on flat glass/windows.  I myself have scratched glass multiple times when cleaning.Ms [redacted] refused to pay.  Initially her only complaint was the scratch.  I offered to replace the glass if she would make payment.  She refused.  We agreed at that time, if she paid me that day, that I would accept $1500 if she would accept the scratched glass as is.  She wanted to pay by credit card but had to take a phone call and would call us or we would call her later that day.  After multiple return trips she paid by check at least 4 weeks after our agreement on payment that day.I am under the impression that this incident has been closed to Ms [redacted]s satisfaction.  I would be happy to discuss if not.We have pictures but Ms [redacted] does not have an issue with the quality of work that we did.
