Response:On Tuesday 6/2/2015, a phone call was received by the customer asking about prices for making a key for his vehicle located in LeRoy, he had checked several other places and was happy that we seemed to be the least expensive out of everyoneAt that time when I spoke with the customer an appointment was made for Thursday, he stated that he wanted the key made and to be out there on Thursday, I told the customer to call me if he needed to cancel the appointment; there was no phone call made to me on Thursday morning to cancel the appointmentI called and texted the customer before heading down to the location and did not receive a call or text back from the customerBeing that he works in a repair shop I assumed that he did not have his phone with him or that he could not hear itI decided to head to the customer's location because of the fact that he was so far away and was so adamant about needing the key done in the first placeWhen I got down to the customer's location the customer stated that he forgot to call me to cancel the appointment he made this statement in front of other employees as well, this customer had two days to cancel the appointmentThe customer also stated when I arrived that his phone was dead so he hadn't received any of my calls or textsThe transaction was setup between myself and the husband and at no time was the wife involved in making the appointmentI became agitated when the customer then handed me a fully charged phone with his wife on the other end (the trip is mins from my location to his, he had plenty of time to cancel before I got there and according to the customer they have voicemail's and texts to prove that I made every attempt to contact them in the morning before I headed down there) after I informed the customer that there would be a service call for making the trip out even though they had decided not to have the key made at that time and didn't cancel the original appointment, I even made the suggestion of giving me something to cover my gas because I felt bad for having to charge the guyI did go to the manager of the employee to ask him about taking care of the employee's bill but the employer did state that it was not their issue and that was droppedAfter talking with local authorities about the situation, it was informed to me that this is a civil matter and that if I wanted to I could bill the customer and take him to court for non-payment of services but quite frankly I don't have the time or energy to put into such a small matterWe have not had any contact with the customer since this matter has happened, and there will be no contact in the future with this customerWe would also appreciate that the customer not call us for any services in the futureIn light of this situation I controlled myself in the best way that I know how and managed to stay as professional as I could given the fact that these customers did in fact steal my time and energy in going down to this location and made me feel like I was the bad guy in this situation.Sent on: 7/6/2:18:PM

Response:On Tuesday 6/2/2015, a phone call was received by the customer asking about prices for making a key for his vehicle located in LeRoy, he had checked several other places and was happy that we seemed to be the least expensive out of everyone. At that time when I spoke...

with the customer an appointment was made for Thursday, he stated that he wanted the key made and to be out there on Thursday, I told the customer to call me if he needed to cancel the appointment; there was no phone call made to me on Thursday morning to cancel the appointment. I called and texted the customer before heading down to the location and did not receive a call or text back from the customer. Being that he works in a repair shop I assumed that he did not have his phone with him or that he could not hear it. I decided to head to the customer's location because of the fact that he was so far away and was so adamant about needing the key done in the first place. When I got down to the customer's location the customer stated that he forgot to call me to cancel the appointment he made this statement in front of other employees as well, this customer had two days to cancel the appointment. The customer also stated when I arrived that his phone was dead so he hadn't received any of my calls or texts. The transaction was setup between myself and the husband and at no time was the wife involved in making the appointment. I became agitated when the customer then handed me a fully charged phone with his wife on the other end (the trip is 45 mins from my location to his, he had plenty of time to cancel before I got there and according to the customer they have voicemail's and texts to prove that I made every attempt to contact them in the morning before I headed down there) after I informed the customer that there would be a service call for making the trip out even though they had decided not to have the key made at that time and didn't cancel the original appointment, I even made the suggestion of giving me something to cover my gas because I felt bad for having to charge the guy. I did go to the manager of the employee to ask him about taking care of the employee's bill but the employer did state that it was not their issue and that was dropped. After talking with local authorities about the situation, it was informed to me that this is a civil matter and that if I wanted to I could bill the customer and take him to court for non-payment of services but quite frankly I don't have the time or energy to put into such a small matter. We have not had any contact with the customer since this matter has happened, and there will be no contact in the future with this customer. We would also appreciate that the customer not call us for any services in the future. In light of this situation I controlled myself in the best way that I know how and managed to stay as professional as I could given the fact that these customers did in fact steal my time and energy in going down to this location and made me feel like I was the bad guy in this situation.Sent on: 7/6/2015 2:18:28 PM
