Mr. Klean Grout

We hired Mr. Klean Grout to completely regrout and caulk our large all tile shower and we are unhappy with how it turned out. I had to have them come back twice to fix the bad work done in the first visit and it still turned out badly. I gave up and spent 2 days cleaning up what I could and sealing the grouting. They didn't even seal the new grouting they installed. There were gaps and clumps in the grout, dried grout all over the tiles, and the caulking was absolutely sloppy and terrible looking. It wasn't right even after their third visit. I couldn't get George (the owner) back out to see what I was complaining about, he would only send his guy back out. The last time his employee got here too late in the afternoon (after promising he'd be there in the morning) to really have much time and then left without telling us he was done. No doubt because he didn't want us to inspect it before he was gone.

For premium dollar, we got mediocre work. The grout repair/refinishing in the showers was nicely done and looks good. The refinishing on the floors, however, was disappointing because we were never told before the work began, that often when tile is re-grouted, the the grout cracks and the tile becomes loose because the sub-floor has been disturbed. When we called to have someone come out to fix the problem, our calls were not returned in a timely manner, and we could not get anyone to commit to a time to come back out to our house. As a result, we have had to pay another contractor to come out to fix the floor problem.

Not only did he just "COVER" the existing mildew at both the sill and under the rest of the tile, He refused to ANSWER ANY CALLS to rectify the situation. So the job looked reasonable until you went to clean the grout, then the superficial layer just crumbles and VOILA the same nasty grout greets you. DON'T BE CONNED!!!!!!

Work performed looked like a 6 year old drew over the grout. Owner said he will come back to fix and has yet to call back despite my numerous calls.
