No refund is due to this customer as the machine functioned properlyThe customer's issue with the machine is that it is "too commercial" in the customer's words and "too big" and "would drain their power for the hair driers"The person paying was different from the person who called to reserve the rentalThe person paying did not pay attention when I was explaining how to operate the machineWe felt and still feel that this is an internal issue between [redacted] and her employee [redacted] [redacted] was the person who called to rent the machineShe is the one who spoke to [redacted] (my [redacted] who answers the pone and takes rental info) and ordered the rentalshe never spoke to [redacted] We are in no position to know what sort of electrical setup the customer has a their locationWe simply let the customer know that the machine needs to have it own plugRight from the start [redacted] showed little interest in listening to how to operate the machine and how to troubleshoot potential issuesShe was preoccupied and I waited more time than usual waiting to explain the instructions and best practices to herShe stated that it was because I was late minutesI was looking for a place to park, there was little place to park nearby and I still had to get machine to her locationShe called me a few hours later and said that the machine was popping her outletsI tried to troubleshoot on the phone but she was having none of itI offered to pickup machine early and treat it as a cancellation, meaning I would just charge the $cancellation feeShe said fine [redacted] called back at a later time and sad don't worry about it, [redacted] found out a way to deal with it and to pick it up the next dayI treated this as a regular UNcancelled rental at pointI returned to pick up the next day and [redacted] said that it kept popping their circuits or that it had over frozen the mixShe was using her own mix, not ours and I had previously explained that we could not guarantee her own mix freezing properly as we had no idea of the mixture or amount of alcohol usedAt this point I leftShe texted me later and I called her backWe went over and over again about a refund and I finally agreed to just a $cancellation fee and refunding the restI never, repeat never agreed to a full refundHer response to that was "That does nothing for me" I then rescinded all offers of refund at that pointShe then stated that she did not believe my venison of why machines functions the way it does and in effect called me a liarAt this point, I stopped communicationLater I reviewed a dispute on Square and figured it was herThis time she wanted a full refundI responded to Square with my version of the storyI never spoke to her bank directly at all, still felling this is an internal issue between her and her employeeShe stated that I lied to her bank, completely untrue as I never spoke to anyone from a bank about this incident, mine or hersIn the meantime, she has posted negative posts on our Facebook pageHer friend has also posted a nasty review for us on Yelp, complete with vulgar language and a clear pic of a frozen mix, yet stating that the machine never froze the mix
