Mr. Mike's Plumbing

Jarid *** visited us to fix a leak in the water line. I do not want to see him again.

After checking our issue, he was looking around the house to check how much we are capable of paying and invoice us accordingly. He wanted us to sign the documents and take quick decision - and towards that he did not even wanted us to read the document we were signing. He mentioned that he has explained everything to us and there is no need for us to read what we were signing.

One of the alternatives he had given us was to replace all our poly B lines with pex water lines and gave us an estimate of $13,000. When we told him that someone else had agreed to do the whole work for $7,000, he agreed to reduce his price to $7,900. Needless to say, we did not go with it.

After the leak was fixed, we asked for an estimate to replace a faucet in the lawn and he quoted $500. I have no intention of dealing with them again.

I was pleased with the work, but disappointed with the bill. I paid over $700 for a 2 hour visit to install a $70.00 kitchen tap. I wrote to the owner and although he said we could talk about the invoice, he has not. I am disappointed. The company is within its rights under the law, but I wonder about the ethics of a bill such as this.

Quote fee extracted even through there website said Estimates are Free
On July 19, 2018, Mr. Mike's Plumbing did an estimate on a job at our house. Even through there website shows that the Estimates are free, they demanded payment for the quote prior to leaving our residence, which was paid in full by my wife. Upon discussion with myself and Mike, they admitted that the mistake was there and they would refund the estimate fee on July 19. Nothing has occurred. On August 13, I contacted them again about the refund and nothing has occurred. I have text messages back and forth as well as scene captures to the above issue.

Suren was the plumber who did the job for us, he was very thorough in all aspects, he took pictures before & after he was done. Then he explained what was happening in our home and what he had done to fix the issue. He also mentioned some minor things to consider in the future to avoid problems (appreciated). When the job was complete my home was clean , the out side was clean, a very positive experience. I would not hesitate to use this company again.

Tanner fixed leak under kitchen sink, did a great and neat job, we were very pleased with our service and would highly recommend them.

Today is 2 March 2018, Tanner came to my house to unclog my bathtub drain which I had tried to unclog it the day before without success. You can feel Tanner tried every effort to solve the problem. Finally he detected the clogged location (which is deep down the drain in the 2nd level). After problem fixed, he checked thoroughly any leaks exist and few testings to make sure everything alright. Very impressive of his professional manner and no double to give him a thumb up.

Today Thursday August 31,2017 Riley and Suren changed the connection to the outside water tap and installed a new outside tap at my condo. They did an excellent job. Riley also replaced a small section of a pipe that had a bad join.
That involved extra effort because access had to be got to enter a condo that had the water controls and coming back when that access was available. He went "the extra mile". Riley and Suren worked well together. THANK YOU.
